Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, "The Masked Singer" Hold Onto Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/17/21):

FOX (3.773 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) held onto the demo crown on Wednesday thanks to new episodes of "The Masked Singer" (4.817 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) and "Game of Talents" (2.729 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4).

NBC (6.700 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) was a close second with its trio of "Chicago Med" (6.788 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4), "Chicago Fire" (7.194 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2) and "Chicago PD" (6.118 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2).

Next up was CBS (1.952 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) with a new "Tough as Nails" (2.827 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7) and its two-hour special "A Grammy Salute to the Sounds of Change" (1.514 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T10).

Meanwhile, ABC (1.808 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) opted for repeats of "The Goldbergs" (2.580 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #6), "American Housewife" (1.869 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7), "The Conners" (1.730 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #9) and "Call Your Mother" (1.426 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T10) plus a new "The Con" (1.621 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T10).

And finally, The CW (0.445 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the night with new episodes of "Riverdale" (0.499 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13) and "Nancy Drew" (0.391 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13).
