Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, "American Idol" Claim Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/14/19):

ABC (5.886 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) pulled into the top broadcast spot on Sunday with its mix of a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.223 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) alongside new episodes of "American Idol" (7.184 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) and "Shark Tank" (3.953 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4).

CBS (6.821 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) then was the number two draw with its quartet of "60 Minutes" (8.537 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2), "God Friended Me" (7.007 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (6.762 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) and "Madam Secretary" (4.978 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14).

NBC (2.977 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) shared in the silver honors with a repeat "Ellen's Game of Games" (2.951 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T10) plus originals from "World of Dance" (3.267 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) and "Good Girls" (2.423 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.290 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) opted for repeats of "The Simpsons" (1.096 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14), "Bob's Burgers" (1.004 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14), another "The Simpsons" (1.370 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T10), another "Bob's Burgers" (1.288 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T10), "Family Guy" (1.456 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T10) and another "Family Guy" (1.528 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).
