Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: "Academy of Country Music Awards" Puts CBS on Top

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/7/19):

CBS (9.764 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) notched another victory on Sunday thanks to a new "60 Minutes" (9.347 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and "The 54th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" (9.903 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1).

ABC (5.270 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then was the silver draw with originals from "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.125 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4), "American Idol" (6.092 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) and "Shark Tank" (3.769 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4).

Next up was NBC (2.922 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) with a repeat "Ellen's Game of Games" (2.899 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12) followed by new episodes of "World of Dance" (3.186 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7) and "Good Girls" (2.417 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T9).
