Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "America's Got Talent: The Champions" Tops Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/28/19):

NBC (8.784 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) was the network to beat on Monday thanks to fresh installments from "America's Got Talent: The Champions" (10.382 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) and "Manifest" (5.587 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #5).

Sharing the demo crown was ABC (6.418 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) with new episodes from "The Bachelor" (6.354 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) and "The Good Doctor" (6.546 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3).

Next up was FOX (4.650 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) with originals from "The Resident" (5.380 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6) and "The Passage" (3.919 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6).

Meanwhile, CBS (5.161 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) served up new episodes of "Celebrity Big Brother" (4.667 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) and "Magnum P.I." (5.619 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #8) plus a repeat "Bull" (5.197 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9).

And finally, The CW (1.068 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night with new episodes of "Arrow" (1.213 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10) and "Black Lightning" (0.922 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11).

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.3/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (1/29/18):

ABC (5.866 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was still the top draw on Monday with a new "The Bachelor" (6.295 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and a repeat "The Good Doctor" (5.010 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9).

Second place then went home with

CBS (5.973 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) and its mix of "Kevin Can Wait" (7.176 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2), "Man with a Plan" (6.559 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3), "Superior Donuts" (5.789 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #5), "9JKL" (4.813 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) and "Scorpion" (5.752 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6).

Next up was NBC (4.698 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) with originals from "The Wall" (5.415 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3), "Better Late Than Never" (4.785 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6) and the season finale of "The Brave" (3.895 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12).

Meanwhile, FOX (4.148 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) offered up fresh installments from "Lucifer" (3.621 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) and "The Resident" (4.676 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6).
