Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Night with NFL, Golden Globes

Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/6/19):

NBC (21.220 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.2, #1) cruised to victory on Sunday with the primetime portion of the "NFC Wild Card Game: Eagles at Bears" (37.680 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 11.2, #1) followed by "The 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards" (15.734 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.5, #2).

CBS (6.805 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2) then was a distant second with its mix of "60 Minutes" (7.069 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #10), "God Friended Me" (7.192 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (7.514 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4) and "Madam Secretary" (5.446 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11).

Next up was ABC (3.774 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2) with a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.133 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11) alongside originals from "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.812 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4) and "Shark Tank" (3.704 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4) plus a repeat "Shark Tank" (2.445 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11).
