Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NFL Preseason Puts NBC on Top in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/26/18):

NBC (6.390 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was the top draw on Sunday with its combination of a repeat "Dateline NBC" (5.770 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and coverage of "NFL Preseason: Cardinals at Cowboys" (6.596 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1).

ABC (5.019 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then was the number two network with its mix of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.742 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "Celebrity Family Feud" (6.333 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3), "$100,000 Pyramid" (5.133 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #6) and the season finale of "To Tell the Truth" (3.869 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7).

Next up was CBS (4.792 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) and its lineup of "60 Minutes" (7.251 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10), "Big Brother 20" (5.662 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2), "Bull" (3.146 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #15) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (3.109 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #16).

And finally, "NFL Overrun" (3.183 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) alongside repeats of "The Simpsons" (1.566 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10), "The Simpsons" (1.712 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #9), "Bob's Burgers" (1.465 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10), "Family Guy" (1.464 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10) and another "Family Guy" (1.573 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10) rounded out the night on FOX (1.827 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3).

Next up was ABC (5.134 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and its quartet of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.356 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #6), "Celebrity Family Feud" (6.386 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4), "Steve Harvey's Funderdome" (4.318 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) and "$100,000 Pyramid" (4.477 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T13).
