Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: PGA Overrun Pushes CBS Into Top Spot

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/12/18):

CBS (5.437 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) got a PGA boost on Sunday to its lineup of "60 Minutes" (8.761 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2), "Big Brother 20" (6.518 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (3.481 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) and a special "Elementary" (2.990 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10).

ABC (4.669 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) then had to settle for second place with its mix of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.669 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6), "Celebrity Family Feud" (5.684 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3), "$100,000 Pyramid" (4.635 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) and "To Tell the Truth" (3.689 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6).

Next up was NBC (3.469 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with encores of "Little Big Shots" (3.164 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10) and "America's Got Talent" (3.744 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6) plus a new "Shades of Blue" (3.222 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9).

And finally, repeats of "Bob's Burgers" (0.708 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.2, #14) and "The Simpsons" (0.930 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T12) led into the "Teen Choice 2018" (1.011 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T12) on FOX (0.947 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #4) to round out the night.
