Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Edges Competition with "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert"

Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/1/18):

NBC (7.434 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was the top draw on Easter Sunday with its mix of a "Little Big Shots" (4.005 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13) repeat followed by "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert" (9.534 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and its closing half-hours "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert/Dateline NBC" (8.661 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3) and "Dateline NBC" (4.668 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10).

Second place then went to ABC (5.824 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) with encores of "Roseanne" (3.961 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10), another "Roseanne" (4.591 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4) alongside originals from "American Idol" (7.434 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2) and "Deception" (4.152 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7).

Next up was FOX (1.672 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) with a repeat "Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade" (1.249 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 0.4, #18) followed by new episodes from "Bob's Burgers" (1.491 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13), "The Simpsons" (2.011 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.768 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "Family Guy" (2.095 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4) and "The Last Man on Earth" (1.416 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13).
