Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Tops Viewers with "The Good Wife" Finale

Here are the highlights of the 19 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/8/16):

CBS (8.755 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) was the most-watched network on Sunday with a new "60 Minutes" (9.075 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7) followed by the season finale of "Madam Secretary" (9.977 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7), the series finale of "The Good Wife" (10.472 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3) and the season finale of "Elementary" (5.500 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T14).

ABC (3.778 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) then shared in the demo prize with its quartet of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.273 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "Once Upon a Time" (3.786 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "The Family" (2.605 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T14) and "Quantico" (3.449 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T11).

Next up was NBC (4.897 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and its lineup of "Dateline NBC: On Assignment" (3.967 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #18), a special "Little Big Shots" (7.391 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1), "The Carmichael Show" (3.513 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #13), "Crowded" (2.751 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T14) and "Dateline NBC" (5.099 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).
