"FIXER UPPER" THIRD SEASON PREMIERE DELIVERS MORE THAN FOUR MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS TO HGTV

Helps Cable Network Land in #2 Spot Among Upscale A25-54 and W25-54 on Tuesday Night

New York [For Immediate - December 3, 2015] The third season premiere of HGTV's Fixer Upper on Tuesday, December 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT -- starring the popular home renovation power couple Chip and Joanna Gaines as they help home seekers buy fixer-uppers and transform them into dream homes in Waco, Texas - delivered a strong 1.20 rating among A25-54 and attracted more than 4.1 million total viewers. The Fixer Upper third season premiere is among the highest rated season premieres in HGTV history for A25-54 primetime ratings. The episode also delivered ratings in the A25-54 demo that were 18% higher than the season two premiere in January 2015.

In addition to helping HGTV secure a top 10 cable network position among A25-54 and among W25-54 ratings on Tuesday night, the episode's strong performance helped HGTV secure a #2 position among upscale A25-54 and W25-54.

"The magic of Fixer Upper is the perfect blend of humor, inspiration, beauty and relatability that Chip and Jo create and that resonates with viewers across the country, in every demo." said Allison Page, General Manager, HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country. "Tuesday night's performance was an outstanding start for our third season and we're are excited to bring viewers premiere episodes every week through March."

In the tradition of its sophomore season, the highly anticipated third season of Fixer Upper already has inspired social media shout outs from such notables as Scott Foley, Blake Lively, Steve Forbes and Tom Bergeron. Fans of the series can expect a season full of surprises, funny outtakes and special behind-the-scenes footage. The Gaines will reimagine a wide variety of old houses, including rundown ranchers and dilapidated historic homes, and will give families the spacious new layouts, beautiful room designs and updated curb appeal that they never thought was possible.

In the coming weeks, Chip and Joanna fall in love with a 1850s Victorian home and decide it's the perfect location for a new business venture - a Fixer Upper-style bed-and-breakfast. A special episode of Fixer Upper premiering on Tuesday, December 22, at 9 p.m. ET/PT will follow Chip and Joanna as they renovate and decorate their charming new bed-and-breakfast in time for a festive family gathering.
