Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: PGA Overrun Helps Spark CBS Victory

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/16/15):

CBS (6.766 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was the top draw on Sunday with its mix of "PGA Overrun" (10.828 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2), "60 Minutes" (9.035 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3), "Big Brother 17" (6.721 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1), "Madam Secretary" (3.984 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9) and "CSI: Cyber" (3.824 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

ABC (4.027 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then claimed the silver with its trio of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.856 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "Bachelor in Paradise" (3.964 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) and "Save My Life: Boston Trauma" (3.323 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

Next up was FOX (2.295 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and repeats of "Family Guy" (1.460 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #12), a second "Family Guy" (1.888 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6) and its annual presentation of "Teen Choice 2015" (2.606 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6).

And finally, NBC (2.614 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) closed out evening with "Hollywood Game Night" (2.231 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T13), "Ed Sheeran: Live at Wembley Stadium" (2.090 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T13) and "American Ninja Warrior" (3.067 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #5).
