With primetime coverage of the 2015 NBA Finals Game 4 (Cleveland-Golden State), ABC more than doubled runner-up CBS on Thursday in Total Viewers (+175% - 14.3 million vs. 5.2 million) and outdelivered the other nets' combined for the 4th straight night in Adults 18-49 (+61% - 5.3/20 vs. 3.3/12 - CBS, NBC, Fox and CW).

Airing around the NBA Finals in various time periods across the U.S., "Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night" continued to increase the exposure for the ABC late-night talker in primetime. "Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night 4" marked the annual special's best-ever numbers on any night since its 2008 debut in Total Viewers (4.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.4/6). "Game Night 4" shot up from its year-ago telecast by 22% Total Viewers (4.4 million vs. 3.6 million) and by 44% in Adults 18-49 (1.4/6 vs. 1.0/4).

· Through four games, "Kimmel Game Night" is growing year over year in Total Viewers (+8% - 3.9 million vs. 3.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (+9% - 1.2/5 vs. 1.1/4), pulling in the annual special's strongest-ever 4-night average.

"NBA Finals on ABC Game 4" (8:59 - 11:53 p.m. E.T.)

ABC's 2015 NBA Finals tallied its highest numbers yet and finished as primetime's definitive No. 1 TV program for its 4th straight broadcast in Total Viewers (19.8 million) and all key Adult demos: A18-34 (7.4/31), A18-49 (7.6/26) and A25-54 (8.0/24). The Warriors won the fourth game by a score of 103-82 to tie up the best-of-seven series 2-2. The NBA Finals was once again the most-social TV telecast (1,976,643 tweets).

· The fourth game of the NBA Finals spiked year to year in Total Viewers (+32% - 19.8 million vs. 15.0 million) and Adults 18-49 (+27% - 7.6/26 vs. 6.0/20) to deliver the strongest performance for any Game 4 in over a decade - since the 2004 LA Lakers-Detroit series, which Detroit clinched in Game 5.

· On average, the 2015 NBA Finals is surging by double digits year to year in Total Viewers (+27% - 18.9 million vs. 14.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (+22% - 7.3/25 vs. 6.0/19), tracking as the series' most-watched performance on ABC and the biggest overall 4-game average audience in 14 years - since 2001 with the LA Lakers vs. Philadelphia 76ers.

Most-Watched & Highest-Rated NBA Finals Ever on ABC through Four Games

Nearly 20 Million Viewers is Largest Game 4 Audience on ABC in More Than a Decade; Broadcast Peaks with 23.4 Million Viewers

The 2015 NBA Finals between Cleveland and Golden State is the most-watched and highest-rated NBA Finals ever on ABC through four games, according to Nielsen, averaging 18,896,000 viewers (P2+) and a 11.0 U.S. household rating, up 24 and 28 percent, respectively, from last year's Miami-San Antonio series (14,748,000; 8.9).

Thursday's Game 4 - in which the Golden State Warriors evened the series at two games apiece with a convincing 103-82 victory in Cleveland - averaged 19.8 million viewers, the largest audience for a Game 4 on ABC in more than a decade. The broadcast peaked on ABC with 23,407,000 viewers from 11:15-11:30 p.m. ET. Additionally, Game 4 was up 34 percent from 14,796,000 viewers for last year's Game 4.

Last night's Game 4 also drew an 11.7 U.S. household rating, ABC's highest-rated Game 4 in more than a decade. The peak rating was a 13.6 from 11:15-11:30 p.m. The rating was up 27 percent from a 9.2 for last year's Game 3.

The NBA Finals propelled ABC to win the night for the 46th consecutive time across all of television (broadcast and cable) and across all key demos, dating back to Game 4 of the 2007 NBA Finals. Game 4 more than doubled its closest competition Thursday night.

NBA Countdown, ABC's NBA pre-game show, averaged 6,002,000 viewers, up 20 percent from 4,984,000 viewers a year ago. The broadcast earned a 3.9 U.S. household rating, up 22 percent from a 3.2 for the Game 4 show in 2014.

The 2015 NBA Finals will continue with Game 5 on Sunday, June 14, at 8 p.m. on ABC. Mike Breen, in his record-setting 10th season as the voice of The Finals, will continue to provide commentary with analysts Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson and reporter Doris Burke. NBA Countdown will precede the broadcast at 7:30 p.m. with host Sage Steele and analysts Jalen Rose and Doug Collins.

ABC has been the exclusive home of the NBA Finals since the 2002-03 season.
