"The Blacklist" Grows Week to Week, Hits Five-Week High in Total Viewers

"BLACKLIST" -- WHICH LAST WEEK DELIVERED THE NIGHT'S BIGGEST VIEWERSHIP GAINS IN L+3 - BUILDS BY +50% ON LAST NIGHT'S 18-49 LEAD-IN

"DATELINE" IS NBC'S MOST WATCHED HOUR OF REGULAR PROGRAMMING IN THE THURSDAY 8-9 P.M. ET SLOT IN SIX YEARS

IN 18-49, 'DATELINE' JUMPS +33% WEEK TO WEEK

'THE SLAP' GROWS +17% OR O.1 OF A POITNT WEEK TO WEEK

Thursday Primetime Results:

· "The Blacklist" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 8.4 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) grew by +6% week to week in 18-49 (1.8 VS. 1.7) and by +12% in total viewers (8.369 million vs. 7.490 million) to deliver a five-week high in total viewers (best since Feb. 5, 10.1 million).

· Last night's "Blacklist" built by +50% on its lead-in in 18-49 and by +31% in total viewers (1.8 VS. 1.2).

· "The Blacklist" has improved the slot by +175% vs. NBC's earlier non-sports slot average in L+3 18-49 heading into last night (see details at bottom of e-mail).

· "The Blacklist" will grow substantially in L+3: Last week's "Blacklist" delivered the biggest L+3 gains of the night among Big 4 shows, growing by +74% in 18-49 rating (1.75 to 3.05) and in total viewers by 4.4 million persons (7.5 million to 11.9 million). "The Blacklist" jumped from the #8 show of the night on the Big 4 in total viewers in L+SD to the #2 show in L+3 (and #1 drama). L+7 ESTIMATE: 3.5 in 18-49, 13.8 million viewers overall.

· "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is up by +33% week to week in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.9) and +41% in total viewers (6.379 million vs. 4.513 million).

· "Dateline NBC" delivered the network's top 18-49 rating in the slot since Jan. 31 (1.3 with "Biggest Loser" season finale).

· Is NBC's most-watched hour of regularly scheduled programing in the Thursday 8-9 p.m. time period in six years (since "My Name is Earl" and "Kath & Kim," Oct. 16, 2008, 6.419 million).

· "The Slap" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew by +17% or 0.1 of a rating point week to week in 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.6) and by +26% in total viewers (3.440 million vs. 2.737 million).

· "The Slap" is generating a three-week high for NBC in the slot in total viewers (best since Feb. 26, 3.525 million for "Allegiance").

· "The Slap" will increase significantly in L+3 -- the previous week's "Slap" grew by +51% in L+3 vs. L+SD in 18-49 rating (0.57 to 0.86) and in total viewers by 1.0 million persons (2.7 million to 3.7 million). Upscale: "The Slap" has been a solid upscale attraction, delivering a 116 index of adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" including L+3, with 100 representing an average concentration of those homes).

Note that the Blacklist" has energized NBC's Thursday. In L+3 averages heading into this week:

· "The Blacklist" has improved the Thursday 9-10 p.m. ET slot by +175% in 18-49 versus prior regularly scheduled entertainment programming in the slot this season (3.3 vs. 1.2 in affiliate average, "live plus three day") and by 8.7 million viewers overall (12.9 million vs. 4.2 million, L+3).

· NBC has improved its Thursday nights by +19% in 18-49 since the move of "The Blacklist" to the night, averaging a 1.9 versus a 1.6 previously with regularly scheduled entertainment programming in L+3, and increased on the night by 2.6 million viewers overall (7.8 million vs. 5.2 million, L+3).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore delayed by basketball; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.8/4 with an encore delayed by basketball). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore delayed by basketball).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
