NBC Is #1 on Friday Night in Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54 and Total Viewers, Taking All Six Half-Hours
NBC spins the numbers for Friday, June 28.

Friday Primetime Results:

NBC is #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox for Friday night in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers, taking six of six half-hours among those networks in all three categories with the top two shows of the night, "Ann Curry Reports: A Face in the Crowd" and "Dateline NBC."

· "Dateline NBC" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) reported its top Friday 18-49 rating since May 31 and biggest Friday audience since June 7. Week to week, "Dateline" is up 20% in both adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.0) and adults 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.5) and up 19% in total viewers (6.080 million vs. 5.112 million). From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 60% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.0) and 47% or 2.4 million persons in total viewers (7.5 million vs. 5.1 million).

· "Dateline" is the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers and #2 in 18-49, behind only "Ann Curry Reports."

· At 10 p.m. ET, "Ann Curry Reports: A Face in the Crowd" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) ranked as the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and 25-54 and #2 in total viewers, behind only "Dateline." From its first half-hour to its second, "Ann Curry Reports" grew by 17% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.2), 11% in adults 25-54 (2.0 vs. 1.8) and 7% in total viewers (6.2 million vs. 5.8 million).

· "Ann Curry Reports: A Face in the Crowd" is #1or tied for #1 in the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54; men 18-49 and 25-54; women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54; and total viewers.

· In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, "Ann Curry Reports" delivered a 33% margin of victory among ABC, CBS and NBC in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (with a 2.0 rating vs. a 1.5 for ABC's second-place "20/20").

· NBC's 1.3 for the night matches the top Friday average for ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox since May 17 (1.6 for ABC). In total viewers, NBC's 6.048 million is the biggest average audience for any of those networks since May 10 (8.164 million for CBS).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.8/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.6/4 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in metered-market households with an encore telecast) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
