CBS Wins Premiere Week in Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the Third Consecutive Season

CBS.com Breaks Premiere Week Record with Unique Visitors Up More Than 50%

CBS won premiere week in viewers and adults 25-54 for the third straight year and finished a strong second in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sept. 25.

CBS has the season's top new comedy and series - 2 BROKE GIRLS - and top two new dramas - UNFORGETTABLE and PERSON OF INTEREST.

CBS had the top five scripted programs - TWO AND A HALF MEN, NCIS, 2 BROKE GIRLS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES and THE BIG BANG THEORY (S) - in viewers. Overall, CBS had five of the top 10 programs, 11 of the top 20 - more than any other network.

CBS had five programs in the top 10 in adults 18-49 with TWO AND A HALF MEN, 2 BROKE GIRLS, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER 8:30PM (S), THE BIG BANG THEORY (S) and THE BIG BANG THEORY - more than any other network.

CBS had six programs in the top 10 in adults 25-54 with TWO AND A HALF MEN, 2 BROKE GIRLS, THE BIG BANG THEORY (S), THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER 8:30PM (S) - more than the other networks combined.

TWO AND A HALF MEN was the week's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. This is the first time since 2004 that CBS had the #1 program in both viewers and adults 18-49 during Premiere Week.

NCIS was the week's #1 drama in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

2 BROKE GIRLS was the week's #1 new program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 with the largest fall new series premiere audience since 2001. UNFORGETTABLE was the #1 new drama in households and viewers, PERSON OF INTEREST was the top new drama in adults 25-54.

CBS was first at 10:00 PM in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and tied for first in adults 18-49 (with ABC) Monday to Friday.

Premiere week success also extended online, with CBS.com breaking single-day and full-week records. On Tuesday, September 20, CBS.com broke its single-day traffic record for the second consecutive day, with more than 2 million unique visitors, up 100% from last year. For the full week, CBS.com had 7.5 million unique visitors, up 50% from the previous year.

For the week in viewers: CBS (12.12m), ABC (9.87m), FOX (8.37m) and NBC (7.50m).

For the week in households: CBS (7.6/12), ABC (6.4/10), FOX (4.9/08) and NBC (4.7/08).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.1/08).

? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (P) was first in adults 25-54 (5.3/13), adults 18-49 (4.7/13), adults 18-34 (4.3/14), second in households (6.8/11) and viewers (11.01m). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted its best delivery ever with a season premiere in viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, best household premiere delivery in households since 2005.

? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (S) was first in adults 25-54 (5.8/13), adults 18-49 (5.2/13), adults 18-34 (4.7/13) and second in both households (7.3/11) and viewers (12.22m).

? TWO AND A HALF MEN (P) was first in households (16.7/24), viewers (28.74m), adults 25-54 (12.6/27) and adults 18-49 (10.7/25) - all series highs. TWO AND A HALF MEN posted the best season premiere for a scripted program in viewers since CSI in September 2005, in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since "Desperate Housewives" in September 2005.

? 2 BROKE GIRLS (P) was first in adults 25-54 (8.6/18) and adults 18-49 (7.1/16), second in both households (11.5/16) and viewers (19.37m). CBS posted its best delivery in this time period with entertainment programming since May 16, 2005 in these measures. 2 BROKE GIRLS posted the largest audience for a fall comedy premiere since "Inside Schwartz" in September 2001.

? HAWAII FIVE-0 (P) won its time slot in adults 25-54 (4.5/10), adults 18-49 (3.4/08), second in both households (7.7/12) and viewers (12.19m).

? NCIS (P) was first in households (12.2/19), viewers (19.96m), adults 25-54 (5.9/15) and adults 18-49 (4.3/12).

? NCIS: LOS ANGELES (P) was first in households (10.3/15), viewers (16.71m), adults 25-54 (5.0/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/09). NCIS: LOS ANGELES posted its best delivery in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since February 22, 2011.

? UNFORGETTABLE (P) was first in households (9.0/15), viewers (14.09m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08). CBS posted its best delivery in this time period with regularly scheduled programming since March 9, 2010 in households, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, February 9, 2010 in viewers. ? CRIMINAL MINDS (P) was first in households (8.8/13), second in viewers (14.14m, -0.39m behind ABC). CRIMINAL MINDS posted its best delivery in households since December 8 2010, in viewers since March 2, 2011, in adults 25-54 (5.0/11) since November 3, 2010 and in adults 18-49 (4.1/10) since January 20, 2010.
