DISCOVERY CHANNEL #1 CABLE NETWORK; "SONS OF GUNS" #1 CABLE PROGRAM AMONG MEN IN WEDNESDAY PRIMETIME
On Wednesday, March 2, 2011, Discovery Channel was the #1 cable network during primetime for M25-54 ratings and delivery (no exclusions).
The 9:30PM premiere of Discovery Channel's SONS OF GUNS, Machine Gun Mania/The New Guy, was the #1 ad-supported cable program during primetime (no exclusions), among M25-54, M18-49, and M18-34, delivering 2.2 million viewers (P2+). Leading into that telecast was the 9PM premiere of ATV Gun/Help Wanted at Red Jacket, which was the #3 ad-supported cable program during primetime (no exclusions), among M25-54, delivering 1.79 million viewers (P2+).
Further, the 10PM premiere of DESERT CAR KINGS, Chevelle $$, was the #5 ad-supported cable program during primetime (no exclusions), among M25-54, delivering 1.6 million viewers (P2+). The premieres of SONS OF GUNS and DESERT CAR KINGS posted double-digit gains in ALL KEY DEMOS, compared to their respective year-ago time slots (Mar '10).
