Season Premiere of Operation Repo Watched by 2.2 Million Viewers, truTV's Biggest Audience Ever for a Series Telecast

truTV continued to ride a ratings tidal wave last night as the network's fifth-season premiere of Operation Repo scored truTV's biggest audience ever for a series telecast. Watched by more than 2.2 million viewers and 1.6 million households, the popular series showed growth when compared to the fourth-season premiere.

"Operation Repo is one of those hit shows that just keeps building its audience season after season," said Marc Juris, executive vice president and general manager of truTV/IN SESSION. "Last night's record-setting premiere has set the stage for a successful launch tonight of our newest original series, Full Throttle Saloon."

truTV's Operation Repo Fifth-Season Premiere Ratings Highlights:

* Last night's fifth-season premiere of the hit series Operation Repo scored truTV's biggest audience ever for a series telecast among viewers (2,212,000) and households (1,614,000).

* Compared to the fourth-season premiere of Operation Repo in June 2009, the fifth-season premiere was up 11% among households and 3% among adults 18-34. It was also up slightly among viewers (2,212,000 vs, 2,204,000).

* Operation Repo's fifth-season premiere also yielded strong growth for truTV over the same time period last year, with viewers up 52%, households up 63%, adults 18-34 up 43%, adults 18-49 up 43%, adults 25-54 up 52%, men 18-34 up 35%, men 18-49 up 42% and men 25-54 up 39%.

* The show ranked second in its time period among cable entertainment programs in delivery of viewers and households, as well as adults 18-34 (627,000); adults 18-49 (1,264,000); adults 25-54 (1,175,000), men 18-49 (716,000) and men 25-54 (682,000). It also ranked third in its time period among cable entertainment programs in delivery of men 18-34 (316,000).
