USA TOP CABLE NETWORK - ROYAL PAINS & BURN NOTICE BEAT BROADCAST

NEW YORK, NEW YORK � July 14, 2009 � USA dominated basic cable prime this week, delivering the most P25-54 (1.45 million), P18-49 (1.26 million), P18-34 (526,000), total viewers (3.21 million), and households (2.41 million), as well as earning the top household coverage rating of the week (2.44). USA was the only network in basic cable prime to deliver over 1 million in P18-49, 500,000 in P18-34, or 3 million total viewers.

USA registered victories over "Big 4" broadcasters in 16 primetime hours this week (M-Su 8P-11P) thanks to USA Original Series BURN NOTICE, ROYAL PAINS, LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, and IN PLAIN SIGHT along with WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW, and episodes of NCIS and HOUSE.

USA more than tripled the CW's audience this week in primetime (M-Su 8P-11P) among P25-54 (+232%) and total viewers (+253%) while more than doubling their P18-49 (+174%) and P18-34 (+119%) audiences

USA held six of the top ten P25-54 and half of the top ten P18-49 telecasts in basic cable prime this week, including the top four for both.

� The most popular original series in basic cable prime this week were USA's Thursday night block of Originals with ROYAL PAINS at #1 for P25-54 (2.58 million) and #2 P18-49 (2.20 million) while BURN NOTICE was #1 for P18-49 (2.27 million) and #2 P25-54 (2.50 million). BURN NOTICE was the top original for the week on P18-34, as well (1.04 million) while ROYAL PAINS was the #2 scripted original of the week for this demo (934,000). ROYAL PAINS also delivered 5.73 million total viewers with BURN Notice bringing in 5.51 million total viewers.

� BURN NOTICE and ROYAL PAINS delivered more P18-49 than any new scripted broadcast fare this week.

� More total viewers watched IN PLAIN SIGHT than any other series in Sunday's basic cable prime (3.92 million). This USA Original was a top ten telecast for the week among P25-54 (1.78 million), P18-49 (1.57 million) and households (2.93 million). In its Sunday 10P time period, USA delivered more P18-34 than any broadcaster and outperformed ABC in P18-49, P25-54, and total viewers

� LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT beat ABC in P18-49 (1.23 million), P25-54 (1.43 million), P18-34 (482,000), and total viewers (3.47 million) while delivering more M18-34 than every broadcaster but FOX.

� WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW took the top two telecasts and delivered more P18-49 (2.43 million) and P18-34 (1.12 million) than any other show this week, as well as earning a tie for the #1 P25-54 telecast in basic cable prime.
