Original Series Bridezillas and Secret Lives of Women Contribute to Most Watched August Ever in Prime Among Key Demos

New York, NY, September 4, 2008 - WE tv announced today another record breaking month, ending its summer season with the most watched August ever in the network�s history in Primetime. Viewing increased year-over-year among women ages 18-49 (+18%) and women 25-54 (+23%). These results are due to the network�s commitment to original programming and its hit summer series Bridezillas and Secret Lives of Women, both of which are pacing to be have their best seasons yet among younger women viewers.

"In addition to being our best August ever, this was also our youngest August ever, with more young women tuning into our network than every before," said Steve Cheskin, senior vice president of programming at WE tv. "We�re looking forward to continuing this momentum and continuing to break network rating records with three fascinating new series launching this month: The Locator, the third season of John Edwards Cross Country and Amazing Wedding Cakes."

Today�s announcement comes on the heels of two significant milestones for WE tv. The network recently surpassed 70 million subscribers and is now available in nearly 72 million homes nation-wide, which is more than 62% of U.S. television households and more than 70% of cable television households. WE tv also ended 2Q08 as the strongest quarter in the network�s history with soaring viewership on-air, on demand and online.
