NBC HAS FOUR OF THE TOP 10 PROGRAMS IN 18-49 AND EACH OF THE TOP FOUR SHOWS OF THE WEEK IN TOTAL VIEWERS

BURBANK, Calif. � June 26, 2007 � "America's Got Talent" was the #1 show on television last week in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, and "Dateline NBC" ranked #2 by both measures, as NBC finished #2 for the week June 18-24 in adults 18-49 and total viewers and ranked #1 for the week in adults 25-54.

For the week of June 18-24, NBC averaged a 2.1 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49 and 6.3 million viewers overall, according to "live plus same day" in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

"America's Got Talent" was the #1 show of the week in primetime's key demographic of adults 18-49, and Monday's "Dateline NBC," featuring Matt Lauer's interview with Princes William and Harry ranked #2. Overall, NBC had four of the top 10 and six of the top 15 shows of the week among adults 18-49, as Monday's "Deal or No Deal" ranked #6, Tuesday's "Law & Order; SVU" ranked #7, "Last Comic Standing" ranked #11 and "Age of Love" ranked #12 (tied).

In overall total viewers, NBC had the top four programs of the week: "America's Got Talent" (12.5 million) ranked #1, Monday's "Dateline NBC" (12.2 million) ranked #2, Monday's "Deal or No Deal" (12.1 million) ranked #3 and Tuesday's "Law & Order: SVU" (9.5 million) ranked #4.

Primetime averages for the week of June 18-24 in adults 18-49 were Fox (2.2/7), NBC (2.1/7), CBS (1.7/5), Univision (1.5/5) ABC (1.4/4), CW (0.7) and Telemundo (0.4/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (7.1 million), NBC (6.3 million), Fox (5.5 million), ABC (4.0 million), Univision (3.4 million), CW (1.9 million) and Telemundo (0.9 million).

In regular program averages through 40 weeks of the 2006-07 broadcast year, NBC is running within a tenth of a point of last year's average in adult 18-49 rating (3.1 vs. 3.2). While Fox is flat versus last year in regular-program averages, ABC is down 8 percent (from a 3.7 at this point last year to a 3.4 this year) and CBS is also down 8 percent (from a 3.7 to a 3.4).

NBC highlights for the week of June 18-24:

* On Monday, "Dateline NBC," featuring Matt Lauer's interview with Prices William and Harry, ruled Monday night in 18-49, total viewers and all key measures, pacing NBC to a Monday win in 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. This was the highest-rated "Dateline" telecast in more than two years and the #1 show of the week in adults 25-54.

* Also on Monday, "Deal or No Deal" was #1 in its time period in all key measures, matching NBC's best performance in the slot since April 30, and the debut of "Age of Love" delivered NBC's top 18-49 rating and total viewer result in its time period since the season finale of "Heroes" in May.

* On Tuesday, "America's Got Talent" scored its highest 18-49 rating of the summer and its second-highest demo rating ever, trailing only its original debut in June 2006. "Talent," which was up 13 percent in 18-49 versus the prior week, was the top-rated show on television Tuesday in 18-49, total viewers and other key measures.

* Paced by "America's Got Talent," and with a strong time-period win by an encore "Law & Order: SVU," NBC won its third consecutive Tuesday night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures.

* On Wednesday, "Last Comic Standing" grabbed NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period in four months.

* On Thursday, a two-hour block of encore episodes of "The Office" scored NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period in five weeks, since the final Thursday of the regular television season.

* On Friday, an encore "1 vs 100" won its time period in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures, and on Sunday a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: SVU" was #1 in its slot in 18-49 and other key demos.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of June 18-24:

On Monday, June 18 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Deal or No Deal" averaged a 3.1 rating 10 share in 18-49 and 12.1 million viewers overall, winning the time period in 18-49, total viewers and virtually all key ratings measures. "Deal" matched NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the slot since April 30. From half-hour to half-hour, "Deal" grew by 38 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.6/11 from a 2.6/9) and by more than 3.0 million total viewers (to 13.6 million from 10.5 million).

At 9 p.m. ET, the debut of "Age of Love" (2.5 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall) delivered NBC's top 18-49 rating and total-viewer result in the time period since the season finale of "Heroes" on May 21.

At 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (4.1/12 in 18-49, 12.2 million viewers overall) reported the highest 18-49 rating and total viewership for any edition of "Dateline" since Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005. "Dateline, " featuring Matt Lauer's first-ever American television interview with Prince William and Prince Harry, generated NBC's top results in the Monday 10-11 p.m. time period in both 18-49 and total viewers in five months (since the January 15 telecast of the Golden Globes).

"Dateline" won the time period by every key ratings measure and beat the ABC-CBS competition combined among women 18-49 and women 25-54. In adults 18-49, "Dateline" ruled with a 52 percent margin of victory (4.1/12 vs. a 2.7/8 for CBS' "CSI: Miami" encore in second place). "Dateline" was the #1 telecast on any network Monday night in 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. For the week, "Dateline" ranked #1 among adults 25-54, women 25-54 and women 18-49.

NBC won Monday night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. This marks NBC's 18th Monday win of the 2006-07 broadcast year in 18-49 and 12th win in total viewers.

On Tuesday, June 19 from 8-10 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (4.4/14 in 18-49, 12.5 million viewers overall) dominated its two-hour time period by all key ratings measures, doubling its closest competitors in adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. In adults 18-49, "Talent" prevailed over its closest competitor by a 144 percent margin (4.4 vs. 1.8 for Fox from 8-10 p.m.)

"Talent" hit its highest rating so far this summer in adults 18-49 and the second highest demo rating ever for the series, trailing only its original debut (a 4.6/14 from 9-11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2006). "America's Got Talent" generated NBC's highest non-Olympic results in this time period in 18-49 and total viewers in a year and a half (since November 29, 2005). Versus its previous telecast, "Talent" grew by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (4.4 vs. 3.9).

"Talent" exhibited extraordinary growth over its two-hour telecast, increasing by 63 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 5.2/15 from a 3.2/12) and by 53 percent in total viewers (to 14.6 million from 9.6 million) from its first to its fourth half-hour.

At 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (3.0/9 in 18-49, 9.5 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in all key ratings categories, including adults 18-49 and total viewers. "SVU" beat the ABC-CBS competition combined among adults, men and women 18-34 and locked up its highest 18-49 rating for a rebroadcast since December 26, 2006 and its biggest encore audience overall since December 5, 2006

NBC won its third consecutive Tuesday night in adults 18-49 and total viewers.

On Wednesday, June 20 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Last Comic Standing" averaged a 1.5/5 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall.

Wednesday from 9-10 p.m. ET, "Last Comic Standing" (2.6/8 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall) delivered NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this time period in four months (since February 14). "Last Comic" ranked #2 in adults 18-49 and other key demos. From its first to its second half-hour, "Last Comic" increased its 18-49 rating by 13 percent (to a 2.7/8 from a 2.4/7) and its total viewership by 11 percent (to 6.3 million from 5.7 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) finished within 0.1 of a rating point of first place in adults 18-49 and was #1 among adults 18-34, women 18-49 and other measures.

On Thursday, June 21 from 8-8:44 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Office" averaged a 1.7/6 in 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers overall. From 8:44-9:29 p.m., a second rebroadcast of "The Office" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 18 percent in 18-49 ratings. From 9:29-10:01 p.m., a third encore of "The Office" delivered a 2.0/6 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall. The two-hour block of "Office" encores scored NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this time period in five weeks, since the final Thursday of the regular television season on May 17. The block ranked #2 in adults, men and women 18-34.

From 10:01-11 p.m., "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) scored the highest results of its summer run to date. "Studio 60" ranked #1 for the time period in adults 18-34 and #2 in adults 18-49.

On Friday, June 22 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "1 vs 100" (1.2/6 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) was #1 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other measures. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast "Las Vegas" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m., an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 44 percent in 18-49 and by 51 percent in total viewers.

On Saturday, June 23 from 8-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall) delivered NBC's highest 18-49 rating and overall viewership in the time period in five weeks (since May 19). From its first half-hour to its fourth, "America's Got Talent" increased its 18-49 rating by 63 percent (to a 1.3/5 from a 0.8/3) and its overall viewership by 44 percent or more than 1.2 million persons (to 4.2 million from 2.9 million). At 10 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Dateline NBC" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall), featuring Matt Lauer's interview with Princes William and Harry, reported NBC's highest 18-49 rating and overall viewership in the time period in five weeks (since May 19).

On Sunday, June 24 from 7-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Dateline NBC" averaged a 1.2/4 in 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers overall. From its first to its fourth half hour, "Dateline" increased in 18-49 rating by 50 percent (to a 1.5/5 from a 1.0/4). At 9 p.m., an encore "Law & Order" averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall.

At 10 p.m. ET Sunday, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: SVU" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) won the time period in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and other key demographics. "SVU" built on its lead-in by 38 percent in 18-49 rating and 22 percent in total viewers.
