Cable Ratings Round-Up (Week of April 23-29): 'Lake Placid 2' Puts Sci Fi in Top 15

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "Lake Placid 2," Sci Fi's small screen sequel to the 1999 feature, drew a stellar 3.0 million viewers on Saturday. Said broadcast marked the network's first entry in the top 15 in recent memory.
The usual suspects however dominated the rest of the list, including HBO's "The Sopranos" (6.8 million, #1), USA's "WWE Raw - 10:00" (5.2 million, #2), "WWE Raw - 9:00" (4.7 million, #3), Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch" (3.4 million, #8) and HBO's "Entourage" (3.3 million, #9).
Also making the cut were four nights of NBA coverage - Sunday's Mavericks/Warriors game on TNT (3.7 million, #6), Thursday's Suns/Lakers showdown on TNT (3.1 million, #T11), ESPN's coverage of Friday's Mavericks/Warriors game (3.1 million, #T11) and TNT's Warriors/Mavericks game on Wednesday (3.0 million, #T13).
