NBC RATINGS RESULTS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 26-APRIL 1

BURBANK, Calif. � April 3, 2007 � NBC averaged a 2.3 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49 and 7.3 million viewers overall for the week of March 26-April 1, according to "live plus same day" in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Averages for the week of March 26-April 1 in adults 18-49 were Fox (4.1/12), CBS (3.3/10), ABC (2.8/8), NBC (2.3/7), Univision (1.6/5), CW (1.1/3) and Telemundo (0.3/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (11.4 million), Fox (10.4 million), ABC (8.7 million), NBC (7.3 million), Univision (3.7 million), CW (2.8 million) and Telemundo (0.8 million).

In regular program averages through the first 28 weeks of the 2006-07 season, NBC is up 3 percent versus last year in adult 18-49 rating (3.4 vs. 3.3), giving NBC the only year-to-year increase among the major networks.

NBC highlights for the week of March 26-April 1:

* On Tuesday, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" dominated its time period, beating the ABC-CBS competition combined in adults, men and women 18-49, as well as in adults 18-34 and adults 25-54. "SVU" was also #1 in total viewers. This was its top-scoring telecast since February 13.

* Also on Tuesday, "Law & Order; Criminal Intent" built on its lead-in by 35 percent in 18-49 and 52 percent in overall viewers in a tough time period opposite Fox's "House" and ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" results show.

* On Friday, in its regular time period premiere at 9 p.m. ET, "Raines" topped original dramas on ABC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures, to rank #2 overall in the hour.

* On Wednesday, "Friday Night Lights" and "Crossing Jordan" both posted week-to-week ratings increases in adults 18-49. "Lights" was up 11 percent and "Jordan" up 12 percent versus the prior week.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of March 26-April 1:

On Monday, March 26, from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Deal or No Deal" (3.1 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49, 11.0 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in total viewers and all key adult female demographics versus first-run competition on ABC and Fox.

Monday at 9 p.m. ET, an original "Deal or No Deal" (4.2/10 in 18-49, 12.2 million viewers overall) built by 31 percent in 18-49 rating versus it lead-in from the previous hour. From 10-11 p.m. ET, "The Black Donnellys" averaged a 2.2/6 in 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall.

On Tuesday, March 27 at 8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (2.0/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) increased its 18-49 rating by 44 percent from its first half-hour to its second (to a 2.3 vs. from a 1.6).

Tuesday at 9 p.m., ET "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2.7/7 in 18-49, 8.8 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 35 percent in 18-49 and by 52 percent in total viewers in a highly competitive hour that included Fox's "House" and ABC's "Dancing" results show.

Tuesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (4.3/12 in 18-49, 12.9 million viewers overall) dominated its time period, beating the ABC-CBS competition combined in adults, men and women 18-49, as well as in adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and other demos. "SVU" was also #1 in overall total viewers. This was the top-scoring episode of "SVU" since February 13 in both adults 18-49 and total viewers.

On Wednesday, March 28 at 8 p.m. ET, "Friday Night Lights" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall) was up 11 percent in 18-49 rating versus the prior week's telecast. At 9 p.m., "Crossing Jordan" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall) grew by 12 percent in 18-49 rating and 14 percent in total viewers versus the prior week. At 10 p.m., "Medium" (2.4/7 in 18-49, 7.7 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 26 percent in 18-49 rating. .

On Thursday, March 29, a night of encore episodes of "The Office," featuring "human resources nightmares" hosted by co-executive producer/writer/actor Paul Lieberstein ("Toby"), averaged a 2.1/7 in 18-49 and 4.8 million viewers overall from 8-8:29 p.m. ET, a 2.4/7 in 18-49 and 5.0 million viewers overall from 8:29-9 p.m., a 2.9/8 in 18-49 and 5.8 million viewers overall from 9-9:31 p.m., a 2.3/7 in 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers overall from 10:01-10:31 p.m., and a 2.2/7 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall from 10:31-11 p.m.

Thursday from 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET, "Andy Barker, P.I." averaged a 2.0/ 5 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall.

On Friday, March 30 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Identity" (1.6/6 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall) ranked #2 (or tied for #2) in all key adult female demos. At 9 p.m., "Raines" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. At 10 p.m., "Law & Order" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 7.5 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in 18-49, total viewers and most key measures and was #1 among women 18-34.

On Saturday, March 31 at 8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 1.0/4 in 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Law & Order" averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 5.9 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m., an encore "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (1.8/6 in 18-49, 7.6 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 38 percent in 18-49 rating. "CI" delivered the biggest overall audience in the time period for NBC, excluding sports, since November 11, 2006.

On Sunday, April 1 from 7-9 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 1.9/6 in 18-49 and 7.5 million viewers overall. "Dateline" more than doubled its 18-49 rating from its first half-hour to its fourth (up 108 percent, to a 2.5/7 from a 1.2/4). In overall total viewers, this was NBC's top result in this time period in six weeks (since February 18)

At 9 p.m. ET Sunday, an encore telecast of "Deal or No Deal" (2.8/7 in 18-49, 10.4 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 22 percent in 18-49 rating (2.8 from a 2.3). The "Deal" encore finished within 2 shares of the time period lead in adults 18-49. At 10 p.m., "The Apprentice" averaged a 2.3/6 in 18-49 and 6.0 million viewers overall.
