Although �Desperate Housewives� was pre-empted and �Grey�s Anatomy� was in repeat, ABC placed a competitive second during the first week of December (w/o 12/4/06) with Women 18-34 (2.9/8). ABC stood as the No. 1 broadcaster of the week among Kids 2-11 (1.9/7).

Weekly Rankings: ABC aired 5 of the week�s Top 20 TV programs in Adults 18-49: �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� � No. 6, �Grey�s Anatomy� � No. 15, �Brothers & Sisters� � No. 18 and �Supernanny� and �Santa Claus is Comin� to Town� tied at No. 20. Along with placing among the top-rated shows with Adults 18-49, ABC�s �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� also finished the week among the Top 10 most-watched shows (No. 7).

Monday

With �Wife Swap� leading into the season premiere of �Supernanny,� followed by �What About Brian,� ABC took second place to NBC on Monday night in Adults 18-49, its most competitive finish on the night this season with regular programming. In the key young adult sales demo, ABC (3.1/8) paced ahead of CBS (2.9/7) and beat Fox�s broadcast of the �2006 Billboard Music Awards� by 22% (2.7/7).

�Wife Swap� (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

At 8:00 p.m., �Wife Swap� took second place in its time period among Total Viewers (7.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.0/8), despite having reduced coverage (91%) due to local market pre-emptions.

�Supernanny� (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

In its season premiere against NBC�s fall finale of �Heroes� in the 9 o�clock hour, �Supernanny� took second in the hour among Adults 18-49, generating ABC�s strongest series performance in the time period in viewers (9.6 million) and young adults (3.8/9 � tied) since May � best since 5/1/06.

�What About Brian� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

ABC�s �What About Brian� won the 10 o�clock hour by 31% among Women 18-34 (3.4/10 vs. 2.6/8 � NBC/CBS) and finished second, ahead of NBC�s �Studio 60,� in the other key women demos: Women 18-49 (3.5/9) and Women 25-54 (3.7/9).

Tuesday

ABC�s Tuesday lineup ranked No. 1 on the night in Total Viewers (9.0 million � tied), Women 25-54 (4.2/10 � tied) and Kids 2-11 (3.0/13). The Net took second among Adults 18-49 (2.9/8).

�Santa Claus is Coming to Town� (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

ABC�s special �Santa Claus is Comin� to Town� delivered a first-place finish in its time period in Total Viewers (11.1 million), across all key adult demos (Adults 18-34 � 2.8/9, Adults 18-49 � 3.8/11 and Adults 25-54 � 4.3/11) and Kids 2-11 (6.6/21).

� Year to year, �Santa Claus is Comin� to Town� was up by 2.4 million viewers and 36% among Adults 18-49 over last year�s telecast (8.7 million & 2.8/9 in Adults 18-49 on12/2/05).

�Big Day� (9:00-9:30 p.m.)

The second telecast of ABC�s �Big Day� ranked No. 2 in its half-hour among Adults 18-49 (2.3/6 � tied), Women 18-49 (2.9/7) and Women 25-54 (3.4/8)

�Boston Legal� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

In the 10 o�clock hour, ABC's �Boston Legal� defeated CBS� �Victoria�s Secret Fashion Show� by 3.4 million viewers (10.2 vs. 6.8 million) and 7% in Adults 18-49 (3.0/8 vs. 2.8/8). The ABC legal drama led the hour in Total Viewers (10.2 million), Adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and Men 18-49 (2.4/7 � tied).

Thursday

�Grey�s Anatomy� (9:00-10:01 p.m.)

A repeat of ABC's �Grey's Anatomy� took second in the 9 o�clock hour in Total Viewers (10.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.0/10). The rebroadcast ABC drama topped NBC�s original comedies (�Scrubs�/�30 Rock�) in the hour by 38% in viewers and by 11% in young adults (7.6 million & 3.6/9).

Saturday

�ABC Saturday Movie of the Week: Dr. Seuss� How the Grinch Stole Christmas� (9:00-11:00 p.m.)

With the �ABC Saturday Movie of the Week: Dr. Suess� How Grinch Stole Christmas,� ABC led the 2-hour time period across each of the key adult demographics [Adults 18-34 (1.9/7), Adults 18-49 (2.4/7) and Adults 25-54 (2.7/8)], among Teens 12-17 (2.9/11) and Kids 2-11 (3.9/15).

Sunday

Although �Desperate Housewives� was pre-empted for a 2-hour �Home Edition,� ABC was the No. 1 non-sports network on Sunday in Adults 18-49 (4.3/11) and won the evening across the key women demographics (W18-34 � 4.2/12, W18-49 � 5.5/14 & W25-54 � 6.4/15) and Kids 2-11 (2.5/10). ABC defeated CBS on the night in Adults 18-49 (4.3/11 vs. 4.1/10), despite CBS� high-rated NFL overrun leading into it Sunday schedule during the first hour of the night.

�America�s Funniest Home Videos� (7:00-8:00 p.m.)

The top entertainment program in the 7 o�clock hour among viewers (9.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.7/8), ABC�s �America�s Funniest Home Videos� ranked No. 1 in its time period among Kids 2-11 (3.0/10).

� �America�s Funniest Home Videos� grew sharply from its first half-hour to its second half-hour, gaining 2.2 million viewers (8.7 million to 10.9 million) and 29% in Adults 18-49 (2.4/7 to 3.1/8).

�Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� (8:00-10:01 p.m.)

A 2-hour installment of �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� dominated its nearest non-sports competition by 37% in Adults 18-49 (5.2/12 vs. 3.8/9 � CBS� �Amazing Race� finale/ �Cold Case�). In fact �Home Edition� stood as the night�s No. 1 non-sports television program in the key young adult sales demo.

� �Home Edition� won the time slot to rank as Sunday night�s No. 1 TV program across the key women demos (W18-34 � 5.2/14, W18-49 � 6.7/16 & W25-54 � 7.6/16) and among Kids 2-11 (3.1/11).

�Brothers & Sisters� (10:01-11:00 p.m.)

During the 10 o�clock hour, ABC�s �Brothers & Sisters� beat its CBS drama competition among Adults 18-49 (3.9/10 vs. 3.8/9 � �Cold Case�/�Without a Trace�). The ABC freshman won the hour, beating NBC�s NFL coverage in Women 18-49 (5.8/14) and Women 25-54 (6.7/15).
