WEEK No. 51:

Gaining momentum heading into the official start of the 2006-07 television season next week, ABC produced its strongest weekly performance (w/o 9/4/06) in Total Viewers (7.5 million) and highest Adults 18-49 rating (2.6/8) in over 3 months � since w/o 5/15/06 and 5/22/06, respectively.

Rankings: ABC�s �Saturday Night Football� ranked as the No. 5 show of the week in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. ABC News claimed TV�s Top 2 newsmagazine telecasts of the week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 (�Primetime: The Outsiders� and the season premiere of �20/20�) for the 4th time in the last 5 weeks.

Monday

�Wife Swap� (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Building on its lead-in, the 9:00 p.m. rebroadcast telecast of �Wife Swap� ranked No. 1 in the hour among Adults 18-49 (2.9/7 � tied) and Adults 18-34 (2.9/8), equaling the series� strongest performance of the summer in both adult demos.

� In their third head-to-head airing, ABC�s repeat �Wife Swap� beat Fox�s original �Vanished� by 7% among Adults 18-49 (2.9/7 vs. 2.7/6).

�Supernanny� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

An encore �Supernanny� placed second in the hour in both Total Viewers (5.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.3/6), while winning the hour among Adults 18-34 (2.5/7).

Tuesday

�Primetime: The Outsiders� (10:02-11:00 p.m.)

ABC News� �Primetime: The Outsiders� attracted 7.4 million viewers and a 2.7 rating, 7 share among Adults 18-49, taking second in the time period in both Nielsen measures. The newsmagazine won its hour in the key Adults 25-54 news demo (3.4/8).

� In its fourth telecast, �Primetime: The Outsiders� posted the Net�s highest Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 ratings in nearly 4 months � since 5/16/06, non-sports programming.

Wednesday

�Primetime: Medical Mysteries� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

The season finale of ABC News� �Primetime: Medical Mysteries� placed second in the 10 o�clock hour in Total Viewers (6.0 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.0/6).

� On average, Primetime: Medical Mysteries� has improved its time period for ABC by 2.4 million viewers (6.7 million vs. 4.3 million), by 41% among Adults 18-49 (2.4/7 vs. 1.7/5) and by 47% among Adults 25-54 (2.8/8 vs. 1.9/5) over the same six weeks last year (7/27 � 9/7/05).

Friday

ABC led Friday night in Total Viewers (7.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.1/7), winning the night in the key young adult demo for the second week in a row. The Net drew its largest audience and equaled its highest Adults 18-49 rating on the night in 4 months � since 5/19/06.

�20/20� (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

A special edition of ABC News� �20/20� won its hour in Total Viewers (7.6 million), Adults 18-49 (2.1/7) and Adults 25-54 (2.6/7), posting the Net�s strongest numbers in the hour in all 3 Nielsen measures since May � since 5/19/06, 5/26/06 and 5/19/06, respectively.

�20/20� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

The season premiere of ABC News� �20/20� also took the Network to the top spot in the final hour of primetime in Total Viewers (8.2 million), Adults 18-49 (2.5/8) and Adults 25-54 (3.3/9). Similar to its lead-in, the newsmagazine delivered its best numbers in the hour since May � since 5/19/06, 5/26/06 and 5/26/06, respectively.

� �20/20� led its time period among Adults 18-49 for the 10th week in a row.

� �20/20� was the top program of the night in Total Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 for the second consecutive week.

Saturday

�Saturday Night Football: Ohio State at Texas� (8:00-11:00 p.m.)

With �Saturday Night Football,� featuring the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Texas Longhorns, ABC won the night in primetime in Total Viewers (13.1 million) and across each of the key adult demographics [Adults 18-34 (4.5/18), Adults 18-49 (4.7/18) and Adults 25-54 (5.1/15)] for the second week in a row.

� ABC�s �Saturday Night Football� drew the Net�s largest audience and strongest ratings across all key adult demos on the night in 9 months (since 1/07/06).

� ABC was up by 3.7 million viewers (13.1 million vs. 9.4 million) and by 47% among Adults 18-49 (4.7/15 vs. 3.2/10) compared to the same night last year (9/10/05), when ABC aired the same match-up between Ohio State and Texas.
