CBS's "Rock Star: Supernova" Posts Double Digit Growth in Key Demographics and Gains Nearly One Million Viewers Versus Last Week's Initial Performance Show

CBS'S "ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA" POSTS DOUBLE DIGIT GROWTH IN KEY DEMOGRAPHICS AND GAINS NEARLY ONE MILLION VIEWERS VERSUS LAST WEEK'S INITIAL PERFORMANCE SHOW

"Big Brother: All-Stars" Up in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 From Its Thursday Premiere

CBS's ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA posted double digit percentage growth in key demographics while gaining nearly one million viewers versus last week's initial performance show while BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS also was up in young demographics, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, July 11.

Opposite the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS TUESDAY (P) averaged 7.46 million viewers, 3.2/09 in adults 25-54, 2.9/09 in adults 18-49 and 2.8/10 in adults 18-34. Compared to the Thursday premiere, BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS TUESDAY was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/10), +22% in adults 18-34 (from 2.3/09), even in adults 25-54 and on par in viewers (7.54m).

Also facing baseball competition, ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA TUESDAY (P) averaged 6.18 million viewers, 2.7/08 in adults 18-49, 2.1/07 in adults 18-34 and 3.0/08 in adults 25-54.

Compared to last Wednesday's performance show premiere, ROCK STAR was up +24% in adults 18-34 (from 1.7/06), +23% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/07), +20% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07) and added +880,000 viewers (from 5.30m, +17%).

While maintaining its adults 18-34 delivery in both half-hours (2.1), ROCK STAR grew in its second half-hour in both viewers and key adult demos:

CBS's ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA posted double digit percentage growth in key demographics while gaining nearly one million viewers versus last week's initial performance show while BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS also was up in young demographics, according to final national Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, July 11.

Opposite the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS TUESDAY (P) averaged 7.36 million viewers, 3.1/09 in adults 25-54, 2.8/09 in adults 18-49 and 2.7/10 in adults 18-34. Compared to the Thursday premiere, BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS TUESDAY was up +17% in adults 18-34 (from 2.3/09), even in adults 18-49 and on par in viewers (7.54m).

Also facing baseball competition, ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA TUESDAY (P) averaged 6.27 million viewers, 2.7/08 in adults 18-49, 2.1/07 in adults 18-34 and 3.1/08 in adults 25-54.

Compared to last Wednesday's performance show premiere, ROCK STAR was up +24% in both adults 18-34 (from 1.7/06) and adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07), +23% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/07) and added +970,000 viewers (from 5.30m, +18%).

While maintaining its adults 18-34 delivery in both half-hours (2.1), ROCK STAR grew in its second half-hour in both viewers and key adult demos:
