CONNERS, THE (ABC) - Whoopi Goldberg will drop by the series as Ms. Glen, "Mark's (Ames McNamara) intimidating music teacher, who has a complicated history with another member of the Conner family." (Deadline.com)
ERIC (Netflix) - Wade Allain-Marcus has been cast as club owner Ali Gator in the Benedict Cumberbatch-led limited series. (Deadline.com)
GOOD DOCTOR, THE (ABC) - Original cast member Chuku Modu will reprise his role of Jared Kalu beginning with the show's March 6 episode. (Deadline.com)

HURT UNIT, THE (ABC) - Melissa George has been tapped as the female lead in the drama pilot as Dr. Ashcroft, "the Head of Psychiatry and Deputy Chief of Administration at Nashville's City South Hospital. In that latter capacity she gets into frequent and epic clashes with Dr. Danny Marsh (Ben McKenzie). A brilliant and intuitive psychotherapist, Rachel plays a crucial role in the ongoing care of the badly traumatized patients of the Hurt Unit - and on occasion, in counseling the deeply flawed doctors themselves." JUMP START (CBS) - Kelly Park has been tapped to direct and executive produce the multi-camera comedy pilot, based on Robb Armstrong's long-running comic strip of the same name. (Deadline.com)
PARASITE/SIX FEET UNDER (REBOOT SERIES)/TRUE BLOOD (REBOOT SERIES) (HBO) - HBO and HBO Max content CEO Casey Bloys has confirmed neither reboot series is moving forward. The former "was never really in the works"; while the latter developed a few scripts, "but nothing that felt like it got there." As for its TV take on Bong Joon-ho's Oscar-winning film, the project remains in development but "there's nothing new to report." (Variety.com)
WONDER MAN (Disney+) - Stella Meghie has been tapped to helm episodes of the Marvel Studios series from director Daniel Destin Cretton. (Deadline.com)
