1883 (Paramount+) - Tom Hanks will make a brief appearance in the show's second episode as "a sympathetic three-star general, inspired by General George Meade." (Deadline.com)
BLACK IN THERAPY (CBS, New!) - Howard Jordan, Jr. has sold a single-camera comedy to the Eye about "a group of friends that try to figure out how Black identity and therapy can intersect to better help one another." Dan Lagana will also executive produce the project, which comes from CBS Studios, Aaron Kaplan's Kapital Entertainment and Wendi Trilling's TrillTV. (Deadline.com)
CLEANING LADY, THE (FOX) - Lou Diamond Phillips and his daughter, Gracie Phillips, will both guest on the upcoming drama. Lou will play Joe Fabroa, "described as a charming, handsome, self-centered, luxury car salesman." And Gracie will play Grace Fabroa, "who has been estranged from her father since her mother's death. So when Thony and Fiona (Martha Millan) show up at her front door looking for her father, she is wary of what they want from them." (Variety.com)
FULL BLOOM (ABC, New!) - Dan Kopelman and Susanna Wolff are set to team for a single-camera comedy at the Alphabet in which "when egotistical 60-something author Martin Bloom and his two adult daughters all have babies within months of each other, the Bloom sisters navigate the delicate balance between standing their ground as new moms and peer-parenting with their hilarious, opinionated dad." 20th Television is behind the project with Aaron Kaplan's Kapital Entertainment and Wendi Trilling's TrillTV also producing. LANDING (Peacock, New!) - Sabrina Jalees has sold a single-camera comedy to the streamer "that follows a family of queer friends in their mid-20s living in Brooklyn trying to get somewhere and be someone before they're priced out of their apartments and their dreams. Inspired by Jalees' life, the comedy is about a group of young people all vying to make their mark - but for now, they'll settle for making eye contact with the hot bartender." Greg Berlanti, David Madden and Sarah Schechter will also executive produce via their Warner Bros. Television-based Berlanti Productions. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER (NBC) - Camryn Manheim is the latest addition to the show's revival as a new character, Lt. Kate Dixon. (Deadline.com)
SIX FEET UNDER (REBOOT SERIES) (HBO, New!) - The pay channel is reportedly in "very early development" on a follow-up project to the 2001-2005 series, which "followed the lives of the Fisher family and their associates in the running of a funeral home in Los Angeles." Original series creator Alan Ball as well as Bob Greenblatt and David Janollari will executive produce the project however no writer is currently attached. (Variety.com)
TINY PUTIN (CBS, New!) - Mat Harawitz has booked a multi-camera comedy at the Eye billed as "a multi-generational family comedy about an American husband who just wants to be alone with his wife, a Russian mother-in-law who just wants to be alone with her daughter, and a Russian-American wife and daughter who just wants her husband and mother to get along. Eventually, someone's gonna have to give." Dana Klein will also executive produce the project, which likewise comes from CBS Studios, Aaron Kaplan's Kapital Entertainment and Wendi Trilling's TrillTV. (Deadline.com)
WHEN HOPE CALLS (GAC Family) - The cable channel will air a "surprise one-hour original special" from the series on Sunday, December 12 at 10:00/9:00c. Said offering comes in advance of its two-hour season premiere on Saturday, December 18 at 8:00/7:00c. (Deadline.com)
