9-1-1 (FOX) - Vanessa Estelle Williams is slated to recur on the series as Claudette Collins, "a take-control 9-1-1 Call Center veteran who transfers back to the main Los Angeles station and shows the younger ones, including May Grant (Corinne Massiah), "how it's done." Claudette is tough but fair, outspoken, and confident as hell." (Deadline.com)
AS WE SEE IT (A.K.A. ON THE SPECTRUM) (Amazon) - The Jason Katims-produced series, a coming-of-age story about three 20-something roommates - Jack (Rick Glassman), Harrison (Albert Rutecki) and Violet (Sue Ann Pien) - on the autism spectrum, has landed a new moniker, "As We See It." Sosie Bacon (Mandy), Chris Pang (Van) and Joe Mantegna (Lou) also star. No premiere date was indicated. (Deadline.com)
GENERATION HUSTLE (HBO Max) - The second episode of the series, about WeWork, has been re-edited to indicate no criminal or regulatory charges have been filed against founder Adam Neumann as well as include the company's plans to go public again at a proposed valuation of $9 billion. (Deadline.com)
HERMANAS (The CW, New!) - Crystal Ferreiro is developing a new drama at the netlet which "follows three sisters - individually described as a "hot mess," a "rigid overachiever" and a "homemaker who never left" - who reunite in their small town in Naples, FL after their brother, the crown jewel of the family, gets into a debilitating accident. As the women put their resentments aside to help him, the Primés realize that the sanitized version you present to family evaporates when you're in close quarters, and what's exposed is your most messy, authentic and vulnerable self." Tilde Productions' Ilana Peña and Jerry Bruckheimer Television's Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed will also executive produce for CBS Studios. (Deadline.com)
NCIS (CBS) - Mark Harmon is departing the series as a regular after 18 years. "As an executive producer and dear friend, Mark continues to be an integral part of the fabric of the show," executive producer Steven D. Binder said in a statement. "Our north star has always been staying true to our characters, and that truth has always guided the stories we tell and where those characters go. So regarding the future of Gibbs, as long-time fans of the show may have noticed over the years... never count Leroy Jethro Gibbs out." (@NCIS_CBS)
ONCE UPON A TIME IN AZTLAN (Amazon) - The George Lopez-led drama - which "revolves around a Chicano family in the deep suburbs of Los Angeles as they come to terms with the falsehoods of the American dream, and their ability to defy expectations" - has been ordered to pilot by Amazon Studios. Ricardo de Montreuil is directing from a script by Javier Rodriguez, with both executive producing alongside Lopez, Matthew Carnahan, Estevan Oriol, Mister Cartoon, Michael Connolly, Mark Suroff and Marco Valadez for STXtelevision, Mad Hatter Entertainment and Travieso Productions. (Deadline.com)
RETREAT (FX) - Emma Corrin has booked the lead role on the limited series, Darby Hart, "the amateur sleuth at the center of a murder mystery set at a secluded retreat." (Deadline.com)
SEOUL HUNTERS (truTV, New!) - Cathy Shim, Robert Ben Garant, Peter Kim and Kim Young-chul are set to star in a sketch comedy series at the cable channel, described as "a cutting-edge comedy hybrid set in the world of a paranormal Korean ghost-hunting show, featuring both Korean-American and South Korean comedians in single-camera sketch pranks." The project, which has a pilot order, is co-written by Shim, Garant and Kevin Healy and directed by Garant. They'll also executive produce alongside Luke Kelly-Clyne, Ben Silverman, Howard T. Owens, Drew Buckley, Mike Mills, Mat Baxt and David Regal for Big Breakfast, Propagate and Mills Presents. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED NORTH CAROLINA GOVERNOR PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Bill Chais and Pat Cunnane have sold a potential drama at the Alphabet in which "a brash Bronx public defender comes to North Carolina to reform a dysfunctional, seriously underfunded criminal justice system, putting him on a collision course with the tough-on-crime governor, when, desperate and out of options, he invokes an arcane law that can compel any attorney to serve as defense counsel in criminal trials... and assigns the first case to the governor herself, an attorney in good standing." They'll co-write the hour for the 20th Television-based The Littlefield Company with Warren Littlefield, Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
WHO KILLED SARA? (Netflix) - Creator José Ignacio "Chascas" Valenzuela has signed a three-year exclusive creative partnership for series and a first look film pact with the streaming service. The news comes as production begins next week on a third season of the series. (Variety.com)
