100, THE: SECOND DAWN (The CW) - The series' proposed spin-off remains under consideration at the network with a joint run on HBO Max still on the table. (Deadline.com)
9-1-1: LONE STAR (FOX) - Brianna Baker's Nancy Gillian will return as a series regular on the show's third season. (Deadline.com)
EXPATRIATES, THE (Amazon) - Ji-young Yoo is the first to be cast in the Janice Y.K. Lee adaptation as Mercy, "described as a carefree New Yorker who becomes tangled up in the lives of the expat community in Hong Kong. Though the move to Asia was meant to be a fresh start after college, Mercy's zero responsibility attitude to life begins to haunt her, proving what she has always believed to be true - that she was born with a curse." GAME OF THRONES 10,000 SHIPS PROJECT (HBO) - Amanda Segel has been tapped to pen said "Game of Thrones" spin-off, which is "expected to follow the journey made by warrior queen Princess Nymeria and the surviving members of the Rhoynars, who traveled from Essos to Dorne following their defeat by the Valyrian Freehold in the Second Spice War." MASKED SINGER JAPAN, THE (Amazon, New!) - Amazon Prime Video in Japan has greenlit a local incarnation of hit entertainment show, which "will feature 12 celebrities performing in elaborate costumes, while a panel of judges attempts to guess their identity." Yo Oizumi will host the series, based on the popular Korean format, due on September 3. No auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
MR. IGLESIAS (Netflix) - Executive producer Peter Murrieta has signed a first-look deal with Universal Television. The pact gives the studio first crack at his development output. (Variety.com)

RED QUEEN (Peacock, New!) - Elizabeth Banks is attached to play a major supporting role and direct a proposed small screen take on Victoria Aveyard's YA fantasy novel at the streamer: "set in an alternate near-future America where democracy is replaced by a monarchy led by a group of humans with superpowers who rule with an iron fist over those without powers. Mare, a fiery young woman born to poverty without powers, is doing the best she can to survive and protect her family when she discovers the unthinkable: She somehow has powers too! This shocking discovery turns our world upside down and catapults our unlikely hero to become the face of a revolution for the oppressed while searching for the truth behind the greatest mystery of all... how she became so powerful in the first place." Aveyard and Beth Schwartz will co-write the project for Warner Bros.
