In the episode, Red (James Spader) and Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) are in danger when Townsend deploys her." (TVInsider.com)
HARLEM (Amazon) - Tracy Oliver's upcoming comedy series has cast the following in recurring roles: Andrea Martin as Robin, "Camille's passionate feminist mentor at Columbia University"; Robert Ri'chard as Shawn, "Quinn's sexy, stripper one-night stand who sticks around much longer than she planned"; Juani Feliz as Isabela, "a local politician on track to beating AOCs record as the youngest member of Congress and a new friend of Quinn's"; Kate Rockwell as Anna, "an unlikely love interest for Tye who challenges her both personally and professionally"; and Sullivan Jones as Jameson, "a young activist who initially bumps heads with Camille, but quickly becomes more friend than foe." (Deadline.com)

LA BREA (NBC) - Eoin Macken, Natalie Zea, Jon Seda, Veronica St. Clair, Chiké Okonkwo, Jack Martin, Lily Santiago and Zyra Gorecki are officially set to star in the long-in-the-works drama, in which when a massive sinkhole mysteriously opens in Los Angeles, it tears a family in half, separating mother and son from father and daughter. Zea had already been attached to star as said mother, Eve Harris (formerly Wolcott), as had Gorecki as the daughter, Izzy, and Okonkwo as "a troubled and suicidal survivor trapped underground." Macken will play Gavin Harris, "Eve's (Zea) recently estranged husband, full of swagger and charm"; with Martin as Josh Harris, "Gavin's son who coasts through life on his wit, has great sense of humor and an undeniable charisma." They succeed Michael Raymond-James and Caleb Ruminer, respectively, who had been originally cast in the roles. Seda is set as Dr. Sam Velez (originally Dr. Benjamin Glass), "the father of a teenage girl (St. Clair), he carries himself like the general of an Army"; while Santiago plays Veronica, "very rigid and formal, she does her best to comfort and protect her younger sister." (Deadline.com)
LONG SLOW EXHALE (Spectrum) - Jeff Schine has joined the cast of the Rose Rollins/Josh Lucas-led drama as Eddie Hagen, "the Assistant Coach of the Clayton Hall Cougars." (Deadline.com)
RUST (Showtime) - Dallas Roberts, Clea Lewis and Nicole Chanel Williams are set to recur on the upcoming Jeff Daniels/Maura Tierney-led drama. Roberts will play Jackson Berg, "who is struggling to hang onto his own pharmacy through tough economic times and the rabid expansion of chain drugstores"; with Lewis as Jillian, "a religious Baptist who is deeply fearful of what her husband will think of the efforts by Grace (Tierney) to unionize the dress factory where they both work"; and Williams as JoJo, "who lives on the road, often alone, through hardship and rough times." (Deadline.com)
SHADECRAFT (Netflix, New!) - Joe Henderson and Georgia Lee are set to team to bring the former's upcoming comic book to the streamer as a TV series. The project, from Henderson and artist Lee Garbett, centers on "a 16-year-old Zadie Lu, who, on top of dealing with regular high school problems, is worried that shadows are somehow coming to life around her." Henderson and Lee will executive produce while Garbett is attached as a producer. No studio was indicated. (THR.com)
SNOWPIERCER (TNT) - Chelsea Harris, who recurs as Sykes on the series, will return as a regular for its recently ordered third season. (Deadline.com)
TED LASSO (Apple TV+) - Sarah Niles has joined the cast of the show's second season as Sharon, "a sports psychologist who has been brought in to work with AFC Richmond." (Deadline.com)
TERMINAL LIST, THE (Amazon) - Jeanne Tripplehorn is the latest addition to the Chris Pratt-led drama as Lorraine Hartley, "the first female Secretary of Defense. Ambitious, savvy, and armed with a rough-hewn sense of humor, Hartley rose up the chain of command promoting a numbers-driven strategy that leaned heavily on SpecOps. But when tragedy strikes the Navy SEAL community, Hartley must act to protect James Reece (Pratt) and these valued warriors while grappling with the consequences of her own directives." (Deadline.com)
TURNER & HOOCH (Disney+) - Reginald VelJohnson will drop by the film-turned-TV series as his feature role of David Sutton: "Back in '89 David Sutton was Scott Turner Sr.'s (Tom Hanks) partner and helped him and the original Hooch solve the biggest case in Cypress Beach History. Thirty years later, David is now mayor of Cypress Beach and a close family friend to his old partner's kids, Scott (Josh Peck) and Laura (Lyndsy Fonseca). There is little that happens in Cypress Beach that Mayor Sutton doesn't know about and when Scott and Laura begin investigating one of their father's old cases, it's only a matter of time until David's involved." (Deadline.com)
WONDER YEARS, THE (ABC) - Saycon Sengbloh is the first to be cast in the reboot series pilot as Lillian Williams: "Sharp as a tack, Lillian is confident, kind, perceptive and has a good sense of humor. She knows exactly the right thing to say to convince you of anything. As a mother, wife and full-time accountant, she's organized, efficient and hard-working, but she always puts family first."
