ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - Alondra Delgado is the latest bound for the new season as Vanessa Montes, "the "new girl" at school and the new head coach's daughter. Unapologetic and confident, she doesn't let the extra attention that comes with being the new kid phase her. She has a surprising history with one of her classmates." (Deadline.com)
BIG SHOT (Disney+) - Keala Settle and Emery Kelly will both recur in the John Stamos/Jessalyn Gilsig-led drama as Christina Winters, "Destiny's (Tiana Le) mother."; and Dylan, "a high school student who plays basketball on the public court with the girls team coached by Marvyn (Stamos)," respectively. DC'S STARGIRL (The CW) - Alkoya Brunson has been cast as DC Comics hero Jakeem Thunder, a recurring role in the upcoming second season. (Decider.com)
FAMILY AFFAIR (ABC, New!) - Husband-and-wife duo Devon and Ranada Shepard have scored a put pilot commitment from the Alphabet for a single-camera family comedy which "centers on A-ron, a faded R&B star and committed bachelor whose life is thrown into a tailspin when he's saddled with raising his sister's four kids. A-ron is overwhelmed and underwater until he discovers that musical talent runs in the family. These kids can sing! With their sights set on success, A-ron's about to learn that managing a music group might be hard, but raising four kids is even harder." ABC Signature is behind the project with Noah Rosenberg; G Unit Film & Television's Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson; Blue Butterfly's Mary J. Blige and Bruce Miller; and Universal Music/Polygram Entertainment's David Blackman and Daniel Inkeles also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
NINE PERFECT STRANGERS (Hulu) - Zoe Terakes will recur on the Nicole Kidman-led limited series as Glory, "a young, well-meaning disciple of Masha (Kidman), who works at the Tranquillum Wellness Center." (Deadline.com)
OAKLANDIA (Amazon, New!) - Snoop Dogg will lend his voice to a proposed animated comedy at Amazon Studios set in Oakland, California. Daniel Dominguez and Chris "Comedian CP" Powell are behind the project, full details of which were not given. Wild West Picture Show Productions's Vince Vaughn, Victoria Vaughn and Peter Billingsley will executive produce alongside the duo, Snoop Dogg and Ted Chung. (Deadline.com)
OUT THERE (Hulu, New!) - Kate Folk and Sharon Horgan are set to team for a new half-hour dramedy at the streamer about Meg, "a lonely and single woman in San Francisco, who thinks she's found the rarest of unicorns in Roger, a disarmingly handsome, attentive and empathetic man. But she'll soon discover he's a blot - a fake man programmed to steal her identity, ruin her reputation and destroy her life." The project is based on Folk's short story for the New Yorker, with Small Dog Picture Company's Jason Winer also executive producing for 20th Television. (Deadline.com)
STRANGER THINGS (Netflix) - Shawn Levy's 21 Laps Entertainment has signed a first-look deal for features with Netflix as well as extending his current TV overall deal. Other projects from the company include "Unsolved Mysteries" and "Dash & Lily" as well as the upcoming "Shadow and Bone" and "Lost Ollie." (Deadline.com)
ZOE BAKES (Magnolia Network, New!) - Zoë Francois is set to topline a new series for Chip and Joanna Gaines's upcoming cable channel in which "the Minneapolis resident breaks down the secrets of the best pastry chefs, teaching viewers how to achieve beautiful and delicious desserts from their own kitchens." Intuitive Content's Andrew Zimmern, Patrick Weiland and Patrick McMahill are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
