AMERICA'S GOT TALENT (NBC) - More than 30 producers, executives and other current and former network insiders have come forward regarding NBC Entertainment chairman Paul Telegdy and a top deputy who allegedly "often violated workplace-conduct norms with no apparent consequences." Said report comes on the heels of former judge Gabrielle Union filing a complaint with the state of California's fair employment office which "included a claim that in February, [Telegdy] had threatened her to silence her during the course of an ongoing investigation into workplace practices on set." Sharon Osbourne has since come forward indicating Telegdy "threatened her in 2012 when she told him her family was considering holding a press conference to protest NBC's decision to drop her son Jack from the reality-competition series Stars Earn Stripes shortly after he disclosed that he had MS." NBCUniversal released a statement indicating it will "investigate these allegations, many of which are coming to our attention for the first time." Telegdy also provided a statement saying: "The nature of these allegations flies in the face of everything I stand for. I hope that my actions over decades - empowering those around me, supporting artists, and creating shows with values of aspiration and inclusion at the core - speak louder than the selective words of a few." CONNECTING (NBC) - Parvesh Cheena is the latest to be cast in the ensemble comedy, about a group of friends trying to stay close (and sane) through video chats as they share the highs and lows of these extraordinary times. He'll play Pradeep: "He loves his kids, but is not used to being around them this much." (Deadline.com)
FAMILY FEUD (Syndication) - Production on the upcoming season is set to resume on Tuesday following "slight adjustments" to allow host Steve Harvey, the contestants and the crew to maintain the required social distancing measures. (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Kim Raver, Camilla Luddington and Kevin McKidd have reportedly signed new three year deals - complete with significant salary bumps - to continue on the series. (Deadline.com)
KILLING IT (Peacock, New!) - Craig Robinson is attached to star in a new comedy for the streaming service which "explores class, capitalism and one man's quest to achieve the American dream. And also about hunting really big snakes." Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici are penning the Universal Television-based project, which has received a script-to-series commitment. Robinson and his manager, 3 Arts Entertainment's Mark Schulman, will also executive produce. (THR.com)
NINE PERFECT STRANGERS (Hulu) - Michael Shannon has booked a role on the Nicole Kidman/Melissa McCarthy-led limited series as Napoleon: "Heather (Asher Keddie) and Napoleon are a married couple who lost a twin son." (Deadline.com)
S.W.A.T. (CBS) - The drama may become the first broadcast primetime scripted series to resume production as filming is tentatively slated to begin on Tuesday in Los Angeles. It's understood actors and crew have already been tested ahead of the potential shoot. Said news however is contingent on the guilds reaching an agreement over COVID-19 guidelines as negotiations remain ongoing. (Deadline.com)
SUPERMARKET SWEEP (ABC) - The Alphabet's Leslie Jones-hosted reboot series began production today in California "with rigorous health and safety protocols put in place by producer Fremantle." (Deadline.com)
TAMAR BRAXTON: GET YA LIFE! (WE tv) - Tamar Braxton and the cable channel are parting ways after Braxton laid out allegations that the network "betrayed... overworked, and underpaid" her. Braxton was taken to hospital on July 16 "after an attempt to take her own life," according to the report. Braxton said she is now "on an irreversible path to healing" in a subsequent Instagram post. WE tv has indicated it "will work with her representatives to honor her request to end all future work for the network." It's understood Braxton will still appear in the already completed episodes of "Braxton Family Values" for its seventh season as well as the new six-episode series "Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!," which is expected to debut on September 10 following its previously announced delay from July 30.
