FOR LIFE/THE GOLDBERGS/INDEBTED/SCHOOLED (ABC/NBC) - Executive producer Doug Robinson has renewed his overall deal at Sony Pictures Television for five more years, his home for the past 17 plus years. (Deadline.com)
GOLIATH (Amazon) - J.K. Simmons and Bruce Dern have both signed onto the show's final season as George Zax, "head of a family-owned and operated pharmaceutical company, one of the nation's biggest"; and Frank Zax, "George's brother and the scientific genius and ostracized black sheep of the Zax family," respectively. LINCOLN LAWYER, THE (CBS) - Kiele Sanchez is the first to be cast in the network's small screen take on Michael Connelly's series of bestselling novels, which has also added Ted Humphrey as showrunner and Adam Bernstein as director. Sanchez will play Lorna, "Mickey's second ex-wife and a constant confidante who works as his office manager, running the business side of Mickey's practice while he traverses the town in his Lincoln." Connelly, Humphrey and Bernstein will executive produce alongside writer David E. Kelley and Ross Fineman for A+E Studios and CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)

MONSTERLAND (Hulu) - Mike Colter is bound for the upcoming anthology series as Brian, "a grief-stricken husband who blames himself after his daughter disappears under his supervision. MURDER UNBOXED (Quibi, New!) - The mobile streaming service has commissioned a true crime series which "mimics the style of online "unboxing" videos, introducing pieces of evidence from real life murder cases one item at a time, and features stylized recreations and interviews with investigators, prosecutors and witnesses." Jeff Keane, David Johnson and Steve Luebbert are the executive producers for Coolfire Studios. (Variety.com)
SOUTHERN BOOK CLUB'S GUIDE TO SLAYING VAMPIRES, THE (Amazon, New!) - Amazon Studios is developing a TV series based on Grady Hendrix's upcoming novel, "set in Charleston in the '90s and revolves around a women's book club that must protect its suburban community from a mysterious and handsome stranger who turns out to be a real monster." The project is set up at Patrick Moran's recently launched PKM Productions. Hendrix will executive produce alongside Quirk Books' Brett Cohen. (Deadline.com)

WILD OATS PROJECT, THE (Amazon, New!) - Amazon Studios has snagged the rights to Robin Rinaldi's 2014 memoir, which detailed her "provocative quest for passion at any cost. In the beginning, their plan was simple: during the week, Rinaldi would move into a San Francisco apartment and date other men; on weekends, she would return home to her marriage. What follows - a year of abandon, heartbreak, and unexpected revelation." Rinaldi will serve as a consultant on the project, which is set up at Patrick Moran's recently launched PKM Productions.
