BENT (CBS, New!) - Vaun Wilmott has set up a potential drama at the Eye about "an instinctive and streetwise Texas law enforcement officer who is caught between two parental figures - her biological father, who co-opted her into his 10-state crime spree as a child, and her adopted father, who caught them and took her in as his own." Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed are also on board to executive produce via their CBS Television Studios-based Jerry Bruckheimer Television. (Deadline.com)
BLUFF CITY LAW (NBC) - The Peacock has opted not to green light any additional installments beyond the newcomer's initial 10-episode order. The network previously asked for six additional scripts. (Deadline.com)
COWBOY BEBOP (Netflix) - Production on the upcoming live-action series is being put on "a lengthy hiatus following a knee injury sustained by lead John Cho on the set of the show in New Zealand." (Deadline.com)
DELILAH (HBO Max) - Casey Wilson is the latest bound for the comedy pilot as Margaret Childs-Austin, "the middle daughter of the Childs family and the family fixer, a position she loves and hates with equal measure." (Deadline.com)
DIRTY JOHN (USA) - Missi Pyle and Holley Fain are both bound for the franchise's Amanda Peet/Christian Slater-led second installment, "The Betty Broderick Story." Pyle will play Karen Kintner, "a charismatic and funny wife and mother and integral part of Betty's friend circle, whose own past marriage woes give Betty hope." Fain will portray Evelyn Crowley, "a kind and supportive friend of Betty's who's married to a law colleague of Dan's - and as a result is caught between Betty and Dan when they divorce." (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Richard Flood has been cast in a recurring role on the veteran drama as Dr. Cormac Hayes, "the new head of Pediatric Surgery at Grey Sloan." (Deadline.com)
LIVE (FOX, New!) - Chris Collins has sold a domestic take on the Korean series of the same name to the network. The project, which has a penalty attached, is billed as an "exploration of six interconnected unsung heroes within D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department. Seen primarily through the eyes of Darcell Murrray, a young African-American cop born and raised in one of the most dangerous sectors of D.C., we deep dive into each of the four unique quadrants of the most powerful city in the country." Sterling K. Brown, Danielle Reardon, Ji-Won Park and Jinnie Choi also serve as executive producers for the 20th Century Fox Television-based Indian Meadows Productions and FOX Entertainment. Original series' writer Noh Hee-kyung will be a co-producer. (Deadline.com)
ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO (The CW) - David Anders will drop by the upcoming season as Travis, "a bespoke bootmaker, banjo player, and bovine enthusiast who offers Alex (Tyler Blackburn) and Maria (Heather Hemmens) some help when their car breaks down miles from civilization." (TVGuide.com)
STATION ELEVEN (HBO Max) - Mackenzie Davis and Himesh Patel are the latest additions to the limited series. Davis will play Kirsten, "a survivor of the Georgia Flu pandemic and performer in a post-apocalyptic Shakespeare troupe"; with Patel as Jeevan, "an unemployed lost soul who must become a leader when the Georgia Flu strikes." (Deadline.com)
UNSETTLING, THE (Hulu, New!) - The streaming service has acquired AwesomenessTV's horror series, which "follows 16-year-old Becca (Holly Taylor) as she arrives at her new foster home located in a remote area. Her foster siblings are less than welcoming, none more so than the 11-year-old biological son of Becca's new foster parents." Andrew Jacobsen and Adam Epstein are behind the project, which was directed by Chris Grismer, with Shelley Zimmerman, Rebecca Glashow and Brin Lukens also executive producing. Tequan Richmond, An Li Bogan, Willow Shields, Alex Lange, Noah Grismer, Marguerite Moreau and David Rogers also star. All eight episodes are now available. (Deadline.com)
YOUR HONOR (Showtime) - The Bryan Cranston-led limited series has cast Tony Curran as Frankie, "a trusted associate of crime boss Jimmy Baxter (Michael Stuhlbarg"; Keith Machekanyanga as Little Mo, "a gang leader who enlists the help of one of his crew, Kofi Jones (Johnson), in a crime"; Lamar Johnson as the aforementioned Kofi Jones; and Benjamin Flores, Jr. as Eugene, "Kofi's younger brother who follows in his footsteps."
