BLACK-ISH (ABC) - Executive producer Corey Nickerson has signed a two-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios, ending her run at ABC Studios. The pact calls for Nickerson to develop new series projects for the studio. (Deadline.com)
BOYS, THE/PREACHER/SWAT (Amazon/AMC/CBS) - Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty have signed a new three-year overall deal with Sony Pictures Television, extending the run of their Original Film banner. Said trio are among their current series at the studio. (Deadline.com)
CENTERPIECE (Quibi, New!) - Floral artist Maurice Harris is set to be the focus of a new docu-series at the short-form video service, which "explores the nature of creativity through the process of flower design. Each episode will see Harris go on a creative journey with a celebrity guest exploring who they are to create a mind-blowing floral centerpiece." Harris, Peter Kline, John Kaplan, Rashida Jones and Will McCormack are the executive producers for Alldayeveryday, Le Train Train and Bloom & Plume. (Deadline.com)
DRAMA QUEEN (HBO Max, New!) - TVLine co-founder Michael Ausiello has sold a semi-autobiographical comedy to the streaming service "set in the 1980s and centers on a closeted, TV-obsessed teenager who copes with the harsh realities - and relative mundaneness - of life in small-town New Jersey by escaping to an alternate soap opera universe of his own creation." He'll write and executive produce alongside J.J. Abrams and Ben Stephenson of the Warner Bros. Television-based Bad Robot. Rachel Rusch Rich will serve as co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER (Amazon, New!) - Director James Wan and writer Shay Hatten are spearheading a small screen take on the film franchise at the streaming service. No other specifics were given about the project, which is set up at the Sony Pictures Television-based Original Film. The company's Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty will also executive produce. NOW APOCALYPSE (Starz) - The pay channel has passed on a second season for the comedy series. "It was a great show, it was a great experiment for us but we have made the decision not to bring it back," Starz COO Jeff Hirsch told reporters at the network's TCA session. (Deadline.com)
ROOKIE, THE (ABC) - Co-star Afton Williamson - who plays the title character's TO, Talia Bishop - has opted not to return to the series for its second season. (TVLine.com)
SNEAKY PETE (Amazon) - Bryan Cranston and James Degus have signed a multi-year overall deal with the Warner Bros. Television Group. The pact gives the studio exclusive access to their Moonshot Entertainment banner's output. The company was previously set up at Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED NATE BARGATZE PROJECT (ABC) - Katie Aselton is set to star opposite comedian Nate Bargatze in the multi-camera comedy pilot, which "follows Nate (Bargatze) and his wife Laura (Aselton) who choose to move from California to Nate's native Tennessee, where his parents still live, to raise their 6-year-old daughter. They find the pursuit of a simple life to be much more complicated than they imagined." (Deadline.com)
WANTED, THE (FX, New!) - Shawn Ryan is developing a small screen take on John Tayman's upcoming novel at the cable channel, "which tells the history of the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted Program." Sony Pictures Television-based Original Film is behind the hour with Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
YELLOWSTONE (Paramout Network) - Forrie J. Smith's Lloyd will be promoted to regular for the show's third season while John Emmet Tracy is slated to recur as Ellis Steele, "chief litigator whose firm represents Fortune 500 companies in land-acquisition deals." (Deadline.com)
