ALIVE (A.K.A. FRANKENSTEIN) (CBS) - Ryan Phillippe, Katrina Law and Aaron Staton have scored the lead roles on the drama pilot, about Mark Escher (Phillippe), "a San Francisco homicide detective who's mysteriously brought back to life after being killed in the line of duty. But as he resumes his old life and he and his wife Elizabeth Lavenza (Law) realize he isn't the same person he used to be, they zero in on the strange man behind his resurrection: Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Staton)." DARK CARGO (YouTube) - Heather Lind is the latest bound for the drama pilot as Ava: "Sexy, confident and strong-willed, Ava is the wife of long-haul trucker Joe and the mother of their 5-year-old daughter." (Deadline.com)
GANGS OF LONDON (Cinemax) - Colm Meaney, Paapa Essiedu, David Bradley, Adrian Bower, Ray Panthaki, Darren Evans, Garmon Rhys, Serena Kennedy, Aksel Üstün, Kwong Loke and Constantine Gregory will round out the cast of the upcoming drama, billed as a complex, contemporary and visually stunning journey into the hidden heart of the world's most dynamic multicultural capital and the turbulent power struggles between the international gangs that control it. No specifics about their characters were given. (Deadline.com)
LINCOLN (NBC) - Ramses Jimenez, Brooke Lyons and Roslyn Ruff have all landed roles on the Russell Hornsby-led drama pilot. Jimenez will play Eric Ortiz, "an NYPD detective and Sellitto's (Michael Imperioli) new partner"; while Lyons portrays Kate, "an invaluable addition to the investigative team"; and Ruff is Claire, "Lincoln's caregiver." LOVESTRUCK (FOX) - Steve Kazee will star opposite Rachel Bilson in the drama pilot, in which the entire first season takes place over the course of single night at a wedding. He'll play Alex Fletcher, "a charming, caring and earnest music journalist who has a way with words and loves music." (Deadline.com)
neXt (FOX) - John Slattery and Jason Butler Harner have both signed on for principal roles on the drama pilot, about Paul LeBlanc (Slattery), a brilliant but paranoid former tech CEO who joins a Homeland Cybersecurity Agent, Shea Salazar (Fernanda Andrade), and her team to stop the world's first artificial intelligence crisis: the emergence of a rogue AI with the ability to continuously improve itself. Harner then is set as Ted LeBlanc, "Paul's somewhat narrow-minded younger brother who is a corporate executive at a tech company." (Deadline.com)
P-VALLEY (Starz) - Dan J. Johnson and Tyler Lepley have both scored roles on Katori Hall's strip club drama. Johnson will play Corbin Kyle, "the mixed-race, illegitimate son of a late cotton scion caught between the worlds of black and white." And Lepley is set as Diamond, "the club's strong, silent and salty bouncer." (Deadline.com)

WALKING DEAD, THE (AMC) - Eli Jorne has signed a two-year overall deal with the cable channel. The pact covers his duties on the upcoming 10th season of the drama as well as any future development. Jorne helped shepherd a Rainn Wilson-led sci-fi project at the network in 2017 as well as "a character-driven horror anthology." (Deadline.com)
WHY WOMEN KILL (CBSAA) - Sadie Calvano is the latest to be cast in the upcoming drama as April: "Seen in 1963. She is a beautiful young waitress with a free spirit. She's a burgeoning 1960's flower child who strikes up an unusual friendship with a 1960's housewife." (Deadline.com)
