Built like a linebacker with a distinct face, he is vile and volatile, and ready to take down anyone in his path to vengeance." (Deadline.com)

Welch will play Heather, "a talented writer who is deeply uncomfortable in her own skin and nowhere near realizing her full potential"; with Fiast as Dodge Mason, "the 'new kid' in town, one of the only kids who wasn't born a local"; and Chestnut as Natalie, "to the point with a dry wit, Natalie is determined and focused: her mind is made up to join the potentially deadly competition and maybe leave the town of Carp forever." (Deadline.com)

They disagree on whether this is awful or awesome." The 20th Century Fox TV-based project has a two-season, 16-episode order for a 2020 premiere. STEP UP: HIGH WATER (YouTube) - Ashley Greene and dancer-choreographer Jeremy Copeland have both signed onto the show's second season as Nine Sanders, "a New York-based A&R rep who returns to Atlanta to oversee the details of Sage's tour"; and Zo Browder, "a gender-fluid professional dancer who brings real-world experience to Sage's crew," respectively. Ne-Yo will also reprise his role as Sage Odom, "the founder of the High Water Performing Arts School in Atlanta." (THR.com)
