He'll play Pearce, "an unflappable law enforcement officer with a dry sense of humor and more than 20 years on the job. Smart, dogged and patient, Pearce has been tracking the Cody family for years." Lachman then will portray Frankie, "an edgy, free spirit who arrives at the Cody house with her partner, Billy (Denis Leary). They've been living in a car up and down the West Coast. She seems innocent, but she's dangerous." (Deadline.com)
BOLD TYPE, THE (Freeform) - Luca James Lee and Siobhan Murphy are both slated to recur on the show's sophomore run. Lee will play Ben, "a potential love interest for Jane (Katie Stevens). Ben is a passionate young doctor with a successful practice that Jane crosses paths with and feels a spark." Murphy then will portray Cleo, "a new board member at the publishing company. She runs a digital empire as a relatable fitness guru, but is a force to be reckoned with. Jacqueline (Melora Hardin) will immediately reach out to Cleo once she comes on board." Additionally, Dan Jeonnotte will return as Pinstripe, "Jane's (Stevens) former fling, who reenters her life in season 2." (Deadline.com)
CHIEFS (CBS) - Jorja Fox ("CSI: Crime Scenes Investigation") is returning to the Eye as part of the drama pilot, about the professional and personal lives of three driven, successful, but very different women who are each Chiefs of Police of their own precincts in L.A. County. She'll play Vicky Block, "the Santa Monica Chief of Police, a role which was reworked for her. A native Texan, a cop's cop and the newest to the job of Police Chief, she's just been sworn in. Stubborn and uncompromising, Vicky's a bull in a china shop. She's tough and focused - the type of person you'd pick to win in a fight. The mother of a 15-year-old and happily married to a software consultant, she is devoted to her family and to her job." (Deadline.com)
CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA, THE (Netflix) - Bronson Pinchot is slated to recur on the Archic Comics adaptation as George Hawthorne, "Baxter High's villainous, Puritanical principal. DADDY ISSUES (FOX) - Jane Leeves ("Hot in Cleveland") has signed onto the single-camera comedy pilot, about single, 30-something Andi (Erin Foster), who refuses to settle down, and her friendship with her playboy dad (Don Johnson). She'll play Angela, "Andi's (Foster) chic and confident mother and Roman's (Johnson) ex-wife." (Deadline.com)
DEAD INSIDE (The CW) - Christine Ko ("The Great Indoors") is the latest addition to the drama pilot, about an underachieving beat cop (Joey King) who starts seeing the ghost of her hotshot detective big brother (Freddie Stroma), flipping their sibling dynamic on its head and allowing her to truly live her life for the first time, as they work together to help crime victims both living and dead, and figure out the unfinished business keeping his spirit on Earth. She'll play Kai Chung: "The hard-hitting prosecutor is tough in court but likeable outside it. Kai dated Zach for five years and now strikes up a friendship with Emmy after his untimely death." (Deadline.com)
FALLET (Showtime, New!) - Etan Frankel ("Shameless") has sold a potential import of the Scandinavian series to the pay channel about "a gruesome murder in a quaint town and the pairing of an FBI special agent with a police detective who are brought in to investigate. But this is a comedy and the two investigators are far from the best of the best; truth be told, they're inept." Keshet Studios and Universal TV are behind the project with Peter Traugott, Rachel Kaplan, Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, Pontus Edgren and Joshua Mehr also among the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
FIX, THE (ABC) - Scott Cohen ("Necessary Roughness") is bound for the drama pilot, about Maya Travis (yet to be cast), a prosecutor who lost the trial of the century and was shredded by the media in the process, only to have the murderer strike again eight years later. He is an arrogant pitbull with a thirst for battle." (Deadline.com)
FOR LOVE (ABC) - Rachel Skarsten and Isabella Russo are both bound for the drama pilot, about an epic love triangle set against a grounded, secret world of magic in present day New Orleans. Skarsten will play Charlotte Dumaine: "Charlotte runs the Dumaine empire in her mother's stead, intent on maintaining control over the magic users in New Orleans. When her mother returns, Charlotte falters in the presence of the real woman in charge." Russo then is cast as Marie JoJo, "an innocent 12-year-old orphan girl who has no idea the true reasoning for her adoption." (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Veteran co-stars Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew are departing the series after the current season. (Deadline.com)
HOMECOMING (Amazon) - Dermot Mulroney is set to re-team with Julia Roberts in the upcoming psychological thriller, which centers on a caseworker at a secret government facility and a soldier eager to rejoin civilian life. He'll recur as Anthony, "Heidi's (Julia Roberts) boyfriend, who is eager to please, but a bit needy and grows increasingly frustrated with Heidi's lack of attention to him and their relationship." (Deadline.com)
I FEEL BAD (NBC) - Zach Cherry has scored a role on the single-camera comedy pilot, about one woman's (Sarayu Blue) hilarious unfiltered take on the side effects of trying to have it all. L.A. CONFIDENTIAL (CBS) - Mark Webber, Shea Whigham and Alana Arenas are all bound for the Eye's small screen take on James Ellroy's classic noir novel. Webber will play Bud White: "A noble savage in a detective suit, White went to the Police Academy with Exley (Brian J. Smith) and has already made detective. Never one to hesitate to use brute force, Bud is particularly vicious with criminals who abuse women. Partnered with Dick Stensland (Shea Whigham) who is on the verge of retirement, Bud is just learning how things work at the LAPD." Arenas then is set as June Christman, "an excellent reporter trying to do good in a bad world. Intelligent, perceptive insightful and tough, she writes stories that expose bad things. While chasing exposés, June has developed a rapport with Jack (Walton Goggins)." (Deadline.com)

LIKE FAMILY (NBC) - Blake Anderson ("Workaholics") has joined the cast of the Kether Donohue/Brandon Mychal Smith-led multi-camera comedy pilot, about two twentysomething friends who met as foster children and now try to figure out what they want from life and each other in New York City. He's set as Mason, "a typical millennial who is completely self-assured with nothing backing it up other than a lifetime of his parents telling him he's great." (Deadline.com)
MRS. OTIS REGRETS (FOX) - Christian Camargo has scored a role on the Katie Holmes-led drama pilot as Larry Otis, "Hazel's (Holmes) TV reporter husband who is bitter, hurt and humiliated after Hazel's affair. He is a good father who wants the best for their daughters and will try to work things out after Hazel's indiscretion." (Deadline.com)
RED LINE (CBS) - Vinny Chhibber has scored a role on the drama pilot, about what happens after a white cop in Chicago mistakenly shoots and kills a black doctor. He'll play Liam Pirro, "the quick-witted, openly gay high school teacher whose matter-of-fact approach to emotional support is welcomed by both Daniel Calder (Noah Wyle) and his daughter, Jira (Aliyah Royale), in the aftermath of tragic events." (Deadline.com)
SALVAGE (ABC) - Joelle Carter and Evan Parke are the latest additions to the drama pilot, about Jimmy Hill (Toby Kebbell), an ex-cop who moves back to his hometown in rural Florida hoping to be left alone, but when a local murder is linked to the sunken treasure of a lost Spanish galleon, he's drawn into the investigation by an idealistic deputy (Catalina Sandino Moreno) and pitted against the powerful town patriarch (Jim Belushi), outside criminal agents, and his own father (Will Patton). She will play Sunny Daniels, "Duke's (Belushi) second wife. She's also the town's mayor." Parke then has been cast as Sheriff Galen Ward, "a good lawman, except for maybe being on the take to cover up Duke's crimes." (Deadline.com)
SEARCH AND DESTROY (Hulu) - Taylor Dearden and Aubrey Peoples have booked the lead roles in Carrie Brownstein's semi-autobiographical comedy pilot. Dearden will play Karen, "who is described as witty and cerebral. Writing and playing music are her means of being present and in her body, though Karen keeps trying to be vulnerable in other situations as well." Peeples then is set as Charlotte, "described as unafraid to be bold, assertive, and even rebellious. She has a wild streak that is often tempered by the fact that she is a homebody at heart, verging on traditional." (Variety.com)
SUSPICION (NBC) - Raul Esparza ("Law & Order: SVU") is back in business with the Peacock as part of the drama pilot, about Danny Goldman (Derek Luke), who is coerced to work as an informant for the FBI after accepting a handshake loan from his new friend and millionaire neighbor. He's set to play the latter role, Tom Canter, "the man everyone looks up to. Coming from a humble beginning, he bonds instantly with Danny as the two realize their similar histories."
