"Dive Into Winter" This January with Travel Channel's Warm Weather Escape Programming

NEW YORK (December 5, 2016) - After more than 10 million viewers tuned in to Travel Channel's "Dive Into Summer," the fun, splashy, water-themed programming event that aired earlier this year, the network will build on the success by offering the ultimate escape from the cold with "Dive Into Winter." Airing on Sundays at 9 p.m. from January 1-29, the new shows will celebrate heart-pumping water thrills, gorgeous beach destinations and over-the-top water slides.

The "Top Secret" franchise will return with one-hour episodes that reveal the planet's most secluded, sexy and breathtaking water-themed locations in "Top Secret Swimming Holes." "Top Secret Beaches" and "Top Secret Waterfalls" will round out the programs. The network also will premiere six new episodes of the hit series "Xtreme Waterparks," taking viewers to the world's wettest, wildest and most exhilarating water rides.

"TOP SECRET SWIMMING HOLES"

You've never seen swimming holes like these! "Top Secret Swimming Holes" is on a mission: uncover the world's most secluded, unique, beautiful and extreme spots to splash down. We'll hike, climb, boat and fly our way around the globe to track down 10 gorgeous swimming holes per week. From Mexico's mystical sinkhole caves, to the desert oases of Oman, to an invisible pool at the edge of the world's largest waterfall in Zambia, "Top Secret Swimming Holes" gives you the keys to unlock the adventure of a lifetime.

"TOP SECRET BEACHES"

Time to spread out that towel and soak it all in as seasoned beachcombers reveal the hidden routes to these stunning stretches of sandy perfection. "Top Secret Beaches" discovers the most tranquil, beautiful and secluded beaches on Earth. Each episode explores and ranks 10 unique beaches with their own varied landscapes and features. From the majestic rock formations of Hawaii's Honopu, to the bright blue waters of Sardinia, to the stunning glacial ice-covered black sand of Iceland's Jokulsarlon, these go way beyond a walk from the parking lot.

Now there's a whole new way to chase those waterfalls. "Top Secret Waterfalls" is an exploration of the planet's most perfect, and hidden, sound machines. From Italy's massive Cascata delle Marmore, hand-built by the Ancient Romans, to beachside beauties in Hawaii and California, to the brightest blue water in the world in Costa Rica's Rio Celeste, each episode explores and ranks 10 unique waterfalls. With the help of adventurous travelers who know the elusive routes to these thunderous liquid masterpieces, each waterfall unveils its personality with takeaway information, graphics and a stunning visual story.
