Production Team for 68th Emmy(R) Awards Announced
Glenn Weiss, Danette Herman, Bob Dickinson, Baz Halpin, Tamlyn Wright and Steve Jordan will complete the production team for the telecast.

PRODUCTION TEAM FOR 68TH EMMY(R) AWARDS ANNOUNCED

Glenn Weiss, Danette Herman, Bob Dickinson, Baz Halpin, Tamlyn Wright and Steve Jordan to Join Veterans Don Mischer, Charlie Haykel and Juliane Hare for September 18 Telecast on the ABC Television Network

The executive producers of the "68th Emmy Awards," Don Mischer, Charlie Haykel and Juliane Hare, announced today that industry leaders Glenn Weiss, Danette Herman, Bob Dickinson, Baz Halpin, Tamlyn Wright and Steve Jordan will complete the production team for the telecast.

Weiss will return to direct the show this year, with both Herman and Dickinson reprising their roles as co-producer and lighting designer. Baz Halpin and Tamlyn Wright will serve as production designers, and Steve Jordan is back as music director.

"The 68th Emmy Awards," including the star-studded red carpet preshow, will broadcast live from The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 (7:00-11:00 p.m. EDT/4:00-8:00 p.m. PDT), on ABC and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

Glenn Weiss is an eleven-time Emmy Award winner and highly regarded as one of the most accomplished and creative directors in the industry. He is also the recipient of six Directors Guild Awards for his work on the "Tony Awards," for which he has served as longtime executive producer and director. Additionally, Weiss has directed the "Academy Awards," "MTV Movie Awards," "BET Hip Hop Awards," "American Music Awards" and the "Academy of Country Music Awards." He has also produced Democratic National Conventions and numerous television series, including "Survivor" and "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris."

Danette Herman joins the production as co-producer for her 27th year and remains an invaluable member of the Emmy Awards production team. Herman's credits include the "Tony Awards," "Academy Awards," "Kennedy Center Honors," "Producers Guild Awards," "The Peabody Awards" and "One Night Only: Don Rickles."

During an accomplished career that spans decades, Bob Dickinson has earned 19 Emmy Awards and is among the most recognized and respected lighting designers in the entertainment industry. Dickinson's credits include the "Academy Awards," "Tony Awards," "Golden Globes" and "Grammy Awards." He has worked on numerous television shows including "Conan" and "Duets" along with music specials for the Eagles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Celine Dion, U2, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera, in addition to 12 "Super Bowl Halftime Shows," "The Sound of Music Live!" and "Peter Pan Live!"

Baz Halpin is back for his second year as production designer and has designed and directed some of the industry's most high-profile tours and performances through his company, Silent House. Halpin has recently designed shows for "Taylor Swift: The 1989 Tour Live," "American Idol," Katy Perry's "Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show" and has worked with Nick Jonas, Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea.

Four-time Emmy-winner Tamlyn Wright brings nearly 20 years of experience in design and art direction to the show from her work on the "X Factor," "MTV Movie Awards," "VMAs," "Academy Awards," and the "Grammys." Additionally, Wright has worked with live pop acts, including One Direction and Miley Cyrus.

Emmy and Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Steve Jordan returns to the "Emmys" this year as music director. He brings experience from four previous "Emmy" shows along with the "2010 FIFA World Cup" and the "2004 Democratic Convention." In addition to recording with the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, Bruno Mars, Marc Ronson and Herbie Hancock, he was a founding member of the World's Most Dangerous Band for "Late Night with David Letterman." The multiple Grammy winner has made albums for Keith Richards and the X-pensive Winos, John Mayer, Booker T. & the MG's, and Beyoncé.
