BURGESS BOYS, THE (HBO, New!) - Elizabeth Strout ("Olive Kitteridge") is back in business with the pay channel for another mini-series adaptation, which "follows two brothers who are haunted by the freak accident that killed their father when they were children, and recounts their eventual return to Maine where long-buried tensions surface in ways that change them forever." Robert Redford will executive produce the project via his Wildwood Enterprises banner with Marcus Hinchey (All Good Things) tapped to pen the script. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED ALEX HIRSCH PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Alex Hirsch ("Gravity Falls") is developing a new animated series for the network. The project, set up at 20th Century Fox Television, has a script and presentation pilot commitment. No details however were given. (Variety.com)
