CENTER STAGE: DANCE CAMP (Lifetime, New!) - Production is underway on a third installment in the "Center Stage" franchise with Peter Gallagher, Ethan Stiefel, Kenny Wormald, Sascha Radetsky and Nicole Muñoz reprising their respective roles. Said effort follows "top choreographers Charlie (Radetsky), Cooper (Stiefel) and Tommy (Wormald) as they recruit dancers to compete at a camp where the winners will be selected to join the American Ballet Academy." New to the project is Chloe Lukasiak, who plays Gwen, "a talented dancer prodigy who competes at the camp." Julien Christian Lutz is directing from a script by Nisha Ganatra with Laurence Mark executive producing and Vicki Sotheran and Greg Malcom producing. (Deadline.com)


GREATEST AMERICAN HERO (FOX/20th; W/D: Rick Famuyiwa) - The network's reboot of the cult 1980s series, about "an ordinary man, completely content with being average, wakes up with a superpower suit he never asked for and has to deal with the complications it brings his life," has been given a pilot production commitment. Rick Famuyiwa is spearheading the project, succeeding the previously attached Rodney Rothman. Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Seth Cohen and Tawnia McKiernan also serve as executive producers. TEMPEST (The CW, New!) - Graham Norris and Deirdre Mangan have set up a new drama at the netlet about "a young woman living in a utopian spaceship. When she finds out the ship is secretly powered by slaves, she becomes enmeshed romantically and politically in the dangerous rebellion brewing below the decks." Warner Bros. Television is behind the hour with Rob Thomas and Danielle Stokdyk also serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED ELI ATTIE PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Eli Attie ("Rosewood") has booked a potential drama at the network billed as "a family saga about class, power, and the price of ambition." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the hour, which has a penalty attached. Scott Rudin, Garrett Basch and Eli Bush also serve as executive producers for Scott Rudin Productions. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED JULIAN BREECE PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Julian Breece has sold a potential drama to the network about "when a celebrity televangelist dies mysteriously, his family fights to salvage their Houston-based megachurch and inspirational media enterprise. Their cause is disrupted when the pastor's illegitimate son (with a criminal past) returns to stake his claim on his father's legacy." 20th Century Fox Television is the studio attached. VAN HELSING (Syfy, New!) - The cable channel has acquired the upcoming 13-episode series from Nomadic Pictures. Said effort, due next fall, "centers on Vanessa Helsing, the daughter of famous vampire hunter and Dracula nemesis Abraham Van Helsing. She is resurrected five years in the future to find out that vampires have taken over the world and that she possesses unique power over them. She is humanity's last hope to lead an offensive to take back what has been lost." Chad Oakes, Mike Frislev, Simon Barry, Evan Tyler, Dave Brown, Daniel March and showrunner Neil LaBute are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
