"DR. PHIL" LAUNCHES ALL-NEW SEASON ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 WITH RIPPED-FROM-THE-HEADLINES EXCLUSIVES DURING SEASON 14 PREMIERE WEEK

TV's #1 Daytime Talk Show Kicks Off Its Season Premiere Week With The Shocking and Tragic Story of Michelle Wilkins, The Colorado Woman Whose Unborn Fetus Was Cut from Her Womb And Former Olympian Suzy Favor Hamilton Who Led A Secret Double Life as a High-Priced Las Vegas Call Girl

(Hollywood, CA - September 9, 2015) - DR. PHIL, television's #1-rated daytime talk show, premieres its 14th season on Monday, September 14 with all-new explosive stories and ripped-from-the-headlines exclusives. The season premiere kicks off with the shocking story of Michelle Wilkins, the 26-year-old Colorado woman who survived having her unborn fetus cut from her womb. After responding to a Craigslist ad from a woman who claimed to be selling maternity clothes, Wilkins was allegedly assaulted and lost consciousness. She awoke in the hospital to learn her unborn fetus had been cut from her womb and did not survive.

In an exclusive interview, Wilkins sits down with Dr. Phil to detail what she says happened that fateful day, her surprising attitude towards her alleged attacker and demonstrate the strength and resilience she has shown in the face of tragedy. The episode airs Monday, September 14 (check local listings).

Select quotes from the episode:

"I was very confused when it all started. I thought when she first hit me, was there a spider on me? She grabbed me and pushed me deeper in the house... it had this nightmarish quality... she broke something over my head and liquid was pouring on me." - Michelle Wilkins describing the moment she claims she was hit over the head with a lava lamp before being stabbed.

"I've heard a lot of 911 calls, but I don't know if I've heard the courage that you showed on that 911 call before." - Dr. Phil to Michelle Wilkins about the 911 call she made to police while bleeding out on the basement floor.

"My core belief is that love motivates. I told her I loved her, and in turn she stabbed me. She said, 'If you love me, you will let me do this.'" - Michelle Wilkins' recollection of her conversation with her alleged attacker.

Also airing premiere week:

On Tuesday, September 15, Dr. Phil speaks with Suzy Favor Hamilton, the former Olympic runner who led a secret double life as a $600-an-hour Las Vegas call girl. In a DR. PHIL exclusive, Hamilton discusses how her depression and struggle with bi-polar disorder fueled her competitive need for her new high: sex. In the interview, Favor claims it drove her "hyper sexuality," which led to a three-way with her husband and a female escort while on vacation in Las Vegas. That encounter began her path to join a Vegas escort agency, where she posed as "Kelly," and says she began making men and women's fantasies come true. She was later exposed by one of her clients. How does she say the public exposure has impacted her life, family and career?

Select quotes from the episode:

"I didn't want it to stop, I wanted more sex, I had a disease and I chose sex as the fuel to make me happy." - Elite Runner Suzy Favor Hamilton on her life as a Las Vegas escort.

"Why would you ever agree for your wife to become an escort? She's out selling her body to strange men. Why would you ever agree to that?" - Dr. Phil to Suzy Favor Hamilton's husband Mark, to whom she's been married for 25 years.

On Wednesday, September 16, actor Nicholas Brendon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") sits down with Dr. Phil for help with mental health and addiction issues. But, in the walk-off that made national headlines, find out why Brendon left the stage before a dialogue with Dr. Phil ever began. Following his departure, Brendon's family and associates answer Dr. Phil's hard questions about his struggles.

Then, on Thursday, September 17, Dr. Phil speaks exclusively with the Military police officer who recently told his family he wants to become a woman. With his "son" identifying as transgender, this traditional dad has a dramatic and emotional introduction on the DR. PHIL stage to the woman his "son" believes to be her true self, Steph. For the first time as Steph, she comes face-to-face with her father, and speaks about the dramatic effect this life change is having on her wife and family.

DR. PHIL is produced by Peteski Productions in association with CBS Television Distribution, which also distributes the show. Carla Pennington and Dr. Phillip C. McGraw are the executive producers.
