ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB, THE (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Stephanie Savage; D: Nick Cassavetes) - Zoe Boyle ("Breathless") has been cast in the summer drama, which tells the true story of the women behind NASA's early astronauts and the struggles they face when their lives and families are catapulted into the spotlight overnight. She'll play Jo Schirra, a perky perfectionist/social climbing Navy brat. Her husband, Wally Schirra, "flew missions for the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs." Azure Parsons and JoAnna Garcia Swisher also star. (Deadline.com)


COERCION (NBC/Universal; W/D: George Nolfi) - Scott Cohen ("Necessary Roughness") has joined the cast of the drama pilot, about the O'Connor family and their son, Alex (Gavin Stenhouse), a decorated American war hero and CIA analyst who is a true patriot and loves his country and family. Unbeknownst to him, both of his parents (Hope Davis, Cohen) and his sister (Margarita Levieva) are part of a dormant Russian sleeper cell that has just been reactivated. He'll play said patriarch, Mark, in the project, which also stars Alexandra Peters, Annie Ilonzeh, Kenneth Choi and Morgan Spector. (Deadline.com)


DAMAGED GOODS (ABC/Warner Bros.; W: Lauren Iungerich; D: Declan Lowney) - Jennifer Aspen ("GCB") has landed a role on the comedy pilot, about three damaged women and two damaged men who explore the minutiae of love and relationships. She'll play Nicole's (Anna Camp) protective sister Alexis, a petite immature blonde who's married with three kids. Ben Lawson, Justin Hartley, Kellee Stewart and Steve Talley also star. (THR.com)


FAR EAST ORLANDO (A.K.A. FRESH OFF THE BOAT) (ABC/20th; W: Nahnatchka Khan; D: TBA) - Newcomer Hudson Yang has been tapped for the lead role on the comedy pilot, about Eddie Huang, "a likable, well-meaning kid and a recent transplant from Washington, D.C., now living in homogenized, all-white Orlando, where his dad (Randall Park) is opening a restaurant. He's clearly not happy about being uprooted in the middle of the school year and is trying his best to fit in, make friends and be accepted, but so far it's not exactly working." HISTORY OF MUSIC (HBO; W: George Mastras & Terence Winter; D: Martin Scorsese) - Juno Temple (Maleficent) has scored a role in the potential drama, about Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale), a cocaine-fueled record exec in New York City circa 1977, when punk, disco and a new form of music called hip-hop collided. She's on board as Jamie Vine, "an ambitious assistant in the A&R department at the label, American Century Records." Olivia Wilde also stars. (Deadline.com)


IZOMBIE (The CW/Warner Bros.; W: Diane Ruggiero & Rob Thomas; D: TBA) - Rose McIver ("Masters of Sex") has scored the lead role on the drama pilot, about Olivia "Liv" Moore, a med student-turned-zombie who takes a job in the coroner's office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity, but with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse's memories. "With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective (Malcolm Goodwin), she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head." Alexandra Krosney, David Anders, Malcolm Goodwin, Nora Dunn and Robert Buckley also star. (Deadline.com)


JANE THE VIRGIN (The CW/CTS; W: Jennie Snyder Urman; D: Brad Silberling) - Yael Grobglas, Brett Dier and Andrea Navedo are all the latest additions to the drama pilot, about Jane Gloriana Garcia (Gina Rodriguez), a hardworking religious girl who, due to a series of outrageous events, is accidentally artificially inseminated. Grobglas is set as Monica Solano, "who is left reeling when her husband's sperm is used to inseminate the wrong girl"; with Dier as Michael, "a cop and Jane's steadfast boyfriend who has secrets of his own"; and Navedo as Xiomara Gloriana Garcia, "Jane's mother, who is fiercely devoted to her daughter." LOVE IS RELATIVE (NBC/20th; W: Dan Mazer; D: TBA) - Barry Rothbart (The Wolf of Wall Street) has booked a lead role on the comedy pilot, about Nate (yet to be cast) and Rose (Leslie Bibb), a happy couple who begin to see their marriage in a whole new way after Josh, her newly divorced brother, moves in. He'll play the aforementioned Josh, "a handsome, by-the-book kind of guy who always has played by the rules and is heartbroken after discovering his wife has been unfaithful to him." Utkarsh Ambudkar also stars. (Deadline.com)


PROOF (TNT; W: Rob Bragin; D: Alex Graves) - Annie Thurman (The Hunger Games) is the latest to be cast in the drama pilot, about Katherine Russo (Jennifer Beals), a skeptical, hard science, female surgeon who is persuaded to investigate cases of reincarnation, out-of-body experiences, hauntings to find verifiable proof whether death truly is the end. She'll play Sophie, the teenage daughter of dying internet mogul Ivan Turing (yet to be cast), who plans to leave his estate to Katherine in order to fund her investigations. Callum Blue, Caroline Rose Kaplan and Edi Gathegi also star. (Deadline.com)


SEA OF FIRE (ABC/Sony; W: Jenna Bans; D: Allison Liddi-Brown) - Morgan Taylor Campbell ("Spooksville") will round out the cast of the drama pilot, which chronicles the fallout from three teenage girls starring in a pornographic film, an event that tears their families apart and leads to a disappearance and a murder in their small town of Serenity Falls. She'll play Jane McAllister, "the pretty, preppy and seemingly straight-laced daughter of Reverend Bobby (Jeffrey Nordling) and Adine McAllister (Amanda Detmer), who goes missing on the night of the town festival." Christina Chang, Isabelle Cornish, Jack Davenport, Jennifer Carpenter, Keir Gilchrist, Kevin G. Schmidt, Lilli Birdsell, Michael Trucco and Zoe Soul also star. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED WALL STREET PILOT (CBS/CTS; W: Ben Cavell, John Cusack, Kevin McCabe & Taylor Elmore; D: Niels Arden Oplev) - Maggie Grace ("Californication") has booked the female lead on the drama pilot, which is set in the world of Wall Street power and money. She'll play Jamie Meadows, "a newly hired in-house legal counsel at the hedge fund who is smart, ambitious, savvy and has a conscience." In addition, Niels Arden Oplev ("Under the Dome") has been tapped to direct the hour. Charlie Cox also stars. (Deadline.com)
