USA NETWORK PREMIERES FIVE "ROYAL PAINS" WEBISODES - INCLUDING A MUSICAL DIRECTED BY PAULO COSTANZO

Presented by Toyota, The Webisode Series Dubbed "Evan's Campaign Chronicles" Complements On-Air Storyline

NEW YORK - July 10, 2013 - USA Network is launching Evan's Campaign Chronicles, the new interactive webisode series for ROYAL PAINS, which includes the first-ever musical number directed by Paulo Costanzo, who plays Evan R. Lawson. The five-episode series follows Evan on his journey to claim a seat on the Hamptons Village Council - a theme that is also explored on-air in the series' fifth season. Starting tonight, fans can help Evan on his quest to win the election by logging on at VoteForEvan.usanetwork.com via their desktop or tablet.

Created with Toyota, which is a long-time sponsor, Evan's Campaign Chronicles kicks off with Evan recruiting his HankMed support staff to help him gain more votes. He and his team ask viewers to help diagnose the medical mysteries they encounter on the campaign trail. Fans can weigh in, interact with the webisodes and enter a sweepstakes to win a luxurious Hamptons getaway and a visit to the ROYAL PAINS set.

The final webisode opens with a full musical act featuring the entire cast, including: Paulo Costanzo, Mark Feuerstein, Reshma Shetty, Ben Shenkman and Brooke D'Orsay, who sing a witty number set to an original composition about Evan's goal to win the seat on the Council.

USA created Evan's Campaign Chronicles in conjunction with series creator and executive producers Andrew Lenchewski and Michael Rauch and their creative team, as well as BPG, an integrated advertising agency for the entertainment business.

Throughout the season, Toyota will also present an enhanced second screen experience at http://www.usanetwork.com/royalpains/social/sync as viewers watch each episode of ROYAL PAINS. Fans can learn new facts about the show and its talent, and unlock behind-the-scenes photos and commentary.

As season five continues, Hank is still recuperating from brain surgery and finds that the doctor is becoming the patient. With their Hamptons medical concierge service, HankMed, busier than ever and Boris (recurring guest star Campbell Scott) finally returning to the landscape, Hank finds himself relying on Jeremiah (new series regular Ben Shenkman) in a very surprising way. Evan's rescue of an influential neighbor (recurring guest star Frances Conroy) has unexpected consequences for his future as she tries to take away HankMed's license to work out of Shadow Pond. Evan decides to runs for City Council to thwart her plans. Paige's (Brooke D'Orsay) work at an auction house gives her an eye-opening look into Boris' estate. A newly single Divya (Reshma Shetty) finds her plan to focus solely on work hitting an unexpected snag - she is pregnant! And a change in ownership at Hampton's Heritage Hospital with new administrator Shelby (recurring guest star Laura Benanti) brings new complications for HankMed.

ROYAL PAINS is written and executive produced by Andrew Lenchewski and Michael Rauch. Rich Frank also serves as executive producer along with Jeff Kwatinetz and Paul Frank from Prospect Park, Connie Burge and Carol Flint. Jon Sherman and Jack Bernstein co-executive produce. The series comes from Universal Cable Productions. ROYAL PAINS films entirely in New York (Long Island and Brooklyn) and at locations around the Hamptons.

Characters Welcome.
