Eli Lehrer Named Senior Vice President & Head of Non-Fiction Development, Lifetime(R) Networks
Lehrer joins Lifetime from Bravo Media in Los Angeles, where he was Vice President of Development.

ELI LEHRER NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & HEAD OF NON-FICTION DEVELOPMENT, LIFETIME(R) NETWORKS

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 15, 2013) - Eli Lehrer has been named Senior Vice President & Head of Non-Fiction Development, Lifetime(R) networks, it was announced today by Rob Sharenow, Lifetime's Executive Vice President of Programming. Based in Los Angeles, Lehrer will be responsible for overseeing all non-scripted development for Lifetime and will formally join the company on July 8. He will report directly to Sharenow.

"Eli has an impeccable reputation as one of the very best development executives in the business," said Sharenow. "He's got a tremendous sense of character, story and brand that will be a huge asset to Lifetime and build on our rapidly expanding non-fiction lineup that includes the hit franchises, Dance Moms and Project Runway."

Lehrer joins Lifetime from Bravo Media in Los Angeles, where he was Vice President of Development. While there, he was responsible for managing all reality program development for the network. Before that, he was Vice President, Development and Production, East Coast for Bravo Media. In this role, he executive produced and developed a number of non-scripted hits for Bravo, including The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Flipping Out, The Millionaire Matchmaker and Tabatha's Salon Takeover.

Lehrer also served as Manager, East Coast Development, at VH1 before joining Bravo. He also worked at Artists Management Group and ABC News. Profiled in Multichannel News' 2008 40 Under 40 issue, Lehrer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History from Columbia University. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their two children.

Lifetime's non-fiction current programming slate will be headed by Senior Vice President, Gena McCarthy. She will continue to report directly to Sharenow.
