CATCH UP WITH FAMOUS KIDS THAT GREW UP IN FRONT OF OUR EYES IN THE NEW

E! SPECIAL "ALL GROWN UP: CHILD STARS TODAY" PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, MAY 8 AT 10:30PM ET/PT

Los Angeles, CA May 8, 2013 - We loved seeing them in blockbuster movies and hit TV shows back when they were kids, and now, E! is checking in on some of the biggest child stars who have made the transition into adulthood and either remained in the public eye or took their lives in an entirely different direction. From K-Stew and Taylor Lautner to Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Abigail Breslin and many more, E! invites viewers to check in on the progress of some of their favorite child stars in the new E! Special "All Grown Up: Child Stars Today," hosted by E! News co-anchor Terrence Jenkins. The 30-minute special premieres Wednesday, May 8 at 10:30 PM ET/PT.

Britney and Justin Timberlake first met as kids on "The Mickey Mouse Club"; Kristen Stewart was only eleven when she walked her first red carpet for the film "Panic Room," and Taylor Lautner got his start playing a character called Shark Boy. Anna Paquin won an Oscar at eleven years old, and the "Harry Potter" kids were just preteens when they first started making movie magic. And while most child stars leave their careers behind when they grow into adulthood, many have made the successful leap to grown up stardom as well, and this new special digs deep into the archives to present clips of these kids back then, and fast-forward to share where they are now.

The new special will also visit with some child stars who haven't completely left the limelight yet, whose careers are not quite as big in adulthood as they were before puberty. Mara Wilson stole our hearts in "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Matilda," but took a break from acting to attend college. Now she's doing something totally different, and she shares her passion for it with E! As Bud Bundy, David Faustino had the world by a string, and while he didn't have many steady acting gigs following "Married: With Children," he found his voice in another medium. Jenna Voy Oy was wise-cracking Six on "Blossom," and went on to co-star on "The Parkers," before heading to Nashville to focus on a singing career. And adorable Ricky Schroeder reemerged as an adult with some great acting gigs, but at 42, he's focusing his career energies in a slightly different direction.

Plus, we'll check out some of today's hottest kid stars who might just keep their careers going strong into adulthood, along with a look from the set of the upcoming sequel to "Boy Meets World," called "Girl Meets World."

Find out what all these child stars - and more - are up to now when Terrence Jenkins hosts the new E! Special "All Grown Up: Child Stars Today," premiering Wednesday, May 8 at 10:30 PM ET/PT, only on E!
