INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY DEALS A NEW WAY FOR ADDICTS TO GET THEIR FIX WITH "ADDICTED TO ID WEEK," AIRING TURBO-CHARGED EPISODES OF VIEWERS' FAVORITE SERIES NIGHTLY AT 8PM BEGINNING APRIL 29

(Silver Spring, MD) - Investigation Discovery is prescribing its loyal viewers a new dose of content to feed their true-crime addiction with the announcement of ADDICTED TO ID WEEK, beginning next Monday, April 29. All week long at 8 PM (E/P), ID will air revamped episodes of viewers' favorite series filled with pop-ups that include intriguing new factoids from producers, additional insight from the cutting room floor, and tweets from ID superfans. When applicable, hosts from the series will also provide expert commentary into the cases on screen, including criminal defense attorney Darren Kavinoky ("Deadly Sins"); retired homicide detective Lt. Joe Kenda ("Homicide Hunter"); and clinical psychologist and stalking expert, Dr. Michelle Ward ("Stalked"). The episodes will air as special "Addicted Edition" episodes, and are designed to give ID viewers the additional content and case details they crave. ADDICTED TO ID WEEK will air nightly at 8 PM (E/P) from Monday, April 29 - Sunday, May 5 on Investigation Discovery.

ID's loyal fans have long described themselves as "ID Addicts" so now we're asking our faithful followers to go to Facebook.com/InvestigationDiscovery and tell us why they are Addicted to ID. Additionally, select fan Tweets to @DiscoveryID will be pulled on-screen during the 8 PM hour, and every day next week ID will call out one superfan entry from Facebook to be featured on-screen. This will kick off our newest reward system for fans, launching the "Addict of the Week" initiative in which superfans on social media will get recognition for their undying devotion to the mystery and suspense channel.
