ROB MARCIANO SIGNED TO CO-ANCHOR "ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT"

CNN Veteran Will Join ET In January 2013

LOS ANGELES, CA - November 12, 2012 - Rob Marciano has been named co-anchor of CBS Television Distribution's ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, the #1 syndicated newsmagazine, it was announced today by Linda Bell Blue, Executive Producer of ET. Marciano will co-anchor with Nancy O'Dell beginning January 2013.

Marciano comes to ET from CNN News Group where he has been a news and weather anchor since 2003. Marciano also worked across the CNN Network as a field correspondent and fill-in anchor.

"For over 30 years, ET has been a powerhouse in the entertainment industry and to be part of that blue chip franchise is a dream come true."

Marciano's reports for CNN from the field during Hurricane Katrina and the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico earned a Peabody Award. He hosted primetime specials including "Rescue: Saving The Gulf" where he worked side-by-side with the heroes who saved wildlife, skimmed oil, and cleaned up the beach during the worst oil disaster in U.S. history.

Prior to his work at CNN, Marciano served as chief meteorologist for KATU-TV and 750 KXL News Radio in Portland, Oregon. From 1994-1997, he worked as morning and then chief meteorologist for KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Marciano began his career as a weather anchor for WVIT Connecticut News 30. Before embarking on a career in television he spent three years living and working in New York City as an Equity Sales Trader. Marciano grew up in the Northeast and went to college in upstate New York. He holds a bachelor's degree in meteorology from Cornell University and has the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval.

Entertainment Tonight is produced and distributed by CBS Television Distribution and is taped in Studio City, Calif. Linda Bell Blue and DJ Petroro are executive producers. Nancy O'Dell is the co-anchor. Chris Jacobs and Christina McLarty are correspondents.
