March 13, 2012 - Rick Bryant, master auctioneer, puts on one of the biggest shows in the Missouri Ozarks. Buyers and sellers come to Bryant Auction from hundreds of miles away every week for a bidding showdown. It's anybody's guess who will win and who will lose, but everyone knows they're in for an eyeful of rare collectibles, crazy one-of-a-kind items, and a colorful cast of characters who'd do anything to energize a crowd.

Every day brings new items and new drama at Bryant Auction. In the new 10-part series SOLD!, HISTORY goes behind the scenes with Rick and his crew as they track down objects with profit potential, haggle with sellers, and create a stir on the auction floor to get the bidding wars going. SOLD! premieres Wednesday, April 11 with back-to-back episodes at 9 and 9:30pm ET on HISTORY.

Rick Bryant has an acute ability to find and appraise unique and historical objects. He and his staff comb attics, warehouses, basements, and back rooms for treasures that they believe can fetch a price - from an authentic Civil War musket in working condition to a Wile E. Coyote-style TNT detonator box to a collection of hand-crafted cowhide toilet seats.

Sellers trust Rick to get top dollar for their valuables. But if he doesn't meet their price he's out of a commission. So, on the auction floor, he puts his knowledge and salesmanship into full gear while his "ringmen" race around the room, showing off the item, taking bids, and cajoling potential buyers to throw down the cash.

SOLD! captures not only the comedy and drama of a family-owned auction business but also the historic backstory of the objects being bought and sold.
